In short, I would say if you have the opportunity to get into this college, then take it.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in my college. The highest package was around 56 lacs, and the average is around 8 lacs. Top recruiting companies include Wipro and TCS. Securing an internship at NIT Delhi can be challenging due to tough competition and core branches.

Life at NIT Delhi is really simple compared to other NITs because it is the center of our country.

Placements: Placements are really good as they provide a wide range of options for students, with various types of companies visiting our campus. However, most companies are related to IT and electrical sectors, as the core branches have yet to pass out. The placements are solid, with both the average and median packages being around 15 LPA. Around 80% of students are placed, with the highest package reaching 63.5 LPA.

Some of the recruiting companies are SHL, Cisco, Deloitte, Siemens, Ship Global, Gartner, Global Logic and many more. Most students get internships from CSE, ECE and all other branches.

Don't see NIRF and blindly come to this college.

Placements: In my mechanical engineering till now, placements didn't happen and were expected to be 50–60% placed by comparing M.Tech students. This year, 2024, the highest package is 72 LPA by an EC student, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is 10-14 LPA. The top recruiters are CISCO, SHL, Deloitte, and Amazon, etc.; approximately 40% of students get internships; the top roles are tester and developer.

This college has good placements, but the infrastructure is not great.

Placements: In my college, about 86% of students were placed, with the highest package being 82 lakhs from the EEE branch last year. The average package at NIT Delhi was 17.72 lakhs, and the median package was 17.32 lakhs per annum. Many prominent companies, such as Amazon, Flipkart, and BlackRock, visit our college for placements.

NIT Delhi is an average NIT.

Placements: The average package is around 10-15 LPA every year. Core companies come for placements, and Siemens also visited this year. PSU recruitment also occurred for the electrical branch, and civil engineering students had good internships. Some students secured internships at DRDO and ISRO. The highest package this year was 69 LPA.

In short, it's a really good college with great campus facilities, and I'm absolutely satisfied.

Placements: The mechanical branch is a new introduction here, so the first batch will reach the 3rd year. They will receive placement offers next year (2025). There are many internship opportunities available, but you need to be smart to grab them. Numerous programs offer internships.

I am completely satisfied with this college as it is growing tremendously.

Placements: Mechanical Engineering is the new branch at the National Institute of Technology Delhi. There are 50 students in the branch. Since the first batch has not graduated yet, there is no data available about placements, but we hope they will be above average due to the location and curriculum.

NITD: On the way to becoming the best. Placement is better than most old and well-established NITs.

Placements: About 75 to 85 get placed every year. The highest package as of now is 86 LPA. The lowest package is 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, IBM and many more. Almost everyone gets an internship in there third or fourth year. In fact, getting an internship is compulsory for everyone.
