Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Meghalaya BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. The JEE Main registraton has closed for now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to NIT Meghalaya is scheduled on Jan 24, which is tentative. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main 2024 will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.

NIT Meghalaya's MTech application process is done through the GATE application process. Candidates need to visit the official website of GATE. The process of applying includes registration, filling out the online application form, uploading the required documents, and payment of the application fee. The GATE 2025 application fee is INR 1800 (without a late fee) and INR 2300 (with a late fee).

The application process varies from course to course.The application process of BTech, MTech, and MSc is done via the official website of JoSAA, GATE, and JAM respectively. Candiates with a valid entrance exam score msut apply through the counselling bodies of JoSAA (BTech), CCMT (MTech), and CCMN (MSc). As for the PhD programme, candidates must apply via the NIT Meghalay's official website by filling the online appplication form.

To be considered for admission to the PhD programme at NIT Meghalaya, prospective students are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. These include having a minimum aggregate of 55% in their MA/MSc/BTech/MTech or equivalent degree, with relevance to the area of study, from a recognised university. NIT Meghalaya BTech programme isn’t ranked internationally. However the BTech programmehas been ranked under National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF. NIRF is an approved by the MHRD and was launched by Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th of September 2015.
