Yes, it is nice but you can’t get any NITs because now a days, competition is very high. Everyone is trying to get into NITs and IIITs, although there is a chance to get in GFFTIs and IIITs.

For NIT Meghalaya, the admission criteria and cutoff marks may vary depending on the year and the category of the candidate. In the General category, you typically need to score a high percentile in entrance exams . To have a competitive chance, a percentile of around 98 or above may be required. However, please note that this is a rough estimate and the actual cutoff may vary.if you belong from other categories then as per sc it can be around 92-93 percentile in recent years 21 -22 this got little decrement as you can get in CSE even at 97 or 96 from general.

The breakfast experience at NIT Meghalaya can be a mixed bag, as they attempt to cater to diverse regional preference. Some days, you may find enjoyable options from different parts of India, but on other days, the execution may fall short, leading to disappointment. Lunches on college days are typically lackluster, with the combination of price, curry, and vegetables lacking flavor and variety. The situation doesn't improve when meals are served in the hostel, as the quality remains subpar, failing to meet expectations. For dinner, one can expect an average dining experience, neither exceptional nor particularly satisfying. In summary, the food at NIT Meghalaya is characterized by consistent breakfast, underwhelming college day lunches, impressive hostel meals, and average dinner, making it a topic of concern for students seeking a consistently satisfying dining experience.

We are having a letter grading system it goes like for the grading of the students based on the performance as per the evaluation scheme and Later Grades shall be awarded. The faculty awards the grades with the highest grade SA then AA, AB and it goes like that. The marks system is not relatively in NIT Sikkim and you will be awarded genuinely according to your individual performance. How SGPA is calculated (semester marking)? It is the weighted average of grade points secured by the student in the credit courses taken by him and is given by the expression:SGPA = (1/ Ct ) CiGPi, I = 1where, n is the number of credit courses registered and passed by the student duringthe semester, GPiis the grade point secured by him/ her in the ith course with a credit value of Ci and Ct is the total credit earned in the semester. CGPA (overall grading)-It is the accumulated weighted average grade point of a student over the semesters starting from his/ her joining the programme taking into account all the credit courses registered and passed by him/her. N CGPA = ( 1/ C ) Ci GPi, I = 1where, N is the total number of credit courses registered and completed by the student with pass grade over the semesters starting from his/ her joining theprogramme, GPi is the grade point secured by him/her in the ith course with acredit value of Ci and C is total credit earned till the semester.
