One NIT is in Sikkim and same for Mizoram. However, these NITs are quite low ranked due to various factors. Still, it's a prestigious college.

As per the insights, JIIT is said to be better but in my opinion NIT is NIT be it in Mizoram or Delhi. Moreover, some factors do play a role but if u have enough talent u can succeed well. Afterlife is more important.

See, NIT of anywhere in India is good and no matter where it is located and you can see that students from UP and Bihar are toppers of there stream there.
