NIT Nagaland - National Institute of Technology Dimapur Answered Questions

IIT JAM 2025 examination for the academic session 2025-2026 will be conducted by IIT Delhi, the examination conducting body. Aspirants who had earlier filled the JAM 2025 application form with the required eligibility will be able to give the JAM 2025 examination. IIT JAM 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on February 2, 2025. JAM 2025 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted in SEVEN Test Papers at the undergraduate level.

JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to NIT Nagaland is scheduled on January 24, 2024 which is tentative. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main 2024 will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.

Direct admission is not offered for MSc at NIT Nagaland. Admission to MSc is based on the JAM scores followed by CCMN counselling. However, the institute conducts entrance exam to fill the vacant seats after CCMN counselling. Exam dates for IIT JAM for admission to NIT Nagaland MSc is scheduled on February 11,2024. As per the exam pattern of IIT Jam, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). IIT Jam will have two papers, Paper 1 will include Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics. Paper 2 will cover economics, Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics Statitics. The duration of the IIT Jam exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. IIT Jam exam papers will be for 100 marks.

For admission to MSc programme at NIT Nagaland candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling.  Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate.  NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

Yes, NIT Nagaland does offers MSc at postgraduate level. The MSc specialisation offered are in Physics and Chemistry at NIT Nagaland. Admission to the MSc programme is based on candidates performance in the qualifying exam i.e. bacheloir’s degree in BSc. Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Nagaland  BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. The JEE Main registraton has closed for now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification.
