The total seat intake of the MSc at NIT Meghalaya is 22. The seats are distributed among the two specialisations i.e. Chemistry intakes 11 and Physics intakes 11. NIT Nagaland offers BTech, M.Tech MSc and PhD programme. Candidates who have twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate and a valid JEE Main scores are eligible for the BTech course. For the MTech, candidates who have a Bachelor's Degree in any stream and a valid scorein the GATE score. Also candidates with a bachelor's degree in Science and IIT Jam score are eligible for the MSc programe. And finally for the PhD candidates must have master's degree  in Engineering or Technology, a valid GATE/JRF/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET score.

NIT Nagaland offers PhD acoross multiple specialisations with different eligibility.
