The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 13365. In 2022, it increased to 13567. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 21629 to 25794 for OBC, 2472 to 65567 for SC, 79634 to 62185 for ST, 17978 to 18151 for EWS and 586 to 353872 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 25078 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.

The Last Round closing rank for General AI category students for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 2302, while for the General Home State category students, the Last Round closing rank was 3751. During the NIT Surathkal B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering cutoff 2022, the Last Round closing rank was 1754 for the General AI category, while in 2021, the Last Round closing rank was 1117. During the NIT Surathkal OBC 2023 cutoff, the Last Round closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 4070 for the AI category students. Further, the eligibility criteria for admissions is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Admission to the MBA programme at NIT Surathkal is based on CAT/MAT score followed by group discussion and personal interview. Additionally, the NIT Surathkal MBA fee is INR 3 lakh.
