The college is really very good. The infrastructure and faculty members are good too.
Placements: The 2019 to 2023 batch of civil engineering students had a successful placement round. 47 out of 120 are placed The highest package is INR 25 LPA for a Japan-based company, and the lowest is INR 1.2 LPA for Bioengineers. Other companies like RDC Concrete and Ultratech Cement were also part of the placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are good. They are well equipped with the latest technology. Classes have smart boards, and the labs have all the machines required. The hostel facility is also good. The mess food will lean slightly towards the South Indian style.
Faculty: The faculty members are all well-qualified individuals, and the teaching approach is also really good. The curriculum is based on VTU. The semester exams are pretty difficult, but you can study two days before the exam and get good marks without any problem. The curriculum is relevant.
Other: There are a lot of fests going on in the college. Every student is encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities. Although the campus is in a remote area, there is not much to do in the surroundings .

It is one of the best colleges for engineering.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies for civil were Purvankara, Shobha, Prestige, Atkins, etc. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Almost all students got internship opportunities and a few got internships on their own.
Infrastructure: In our college, classrooms were well-equipped and spacious. We had a huge library with vast collections of books. Hostel food was not so good but the food served in the canteen was very good. Apart from the canteen, we had a few other food corners. We had a huge ground for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and knowledgeable. The course contained less of an industry-related curriculum and hence internships play an important role in industry experience. Exams were quite tough and there was strict timing. The pass percentage was over 80%.
Other: Civil engineering was a good branch and we had a survey camp for 10 days in the 3rd year. The best part of the college was an inter-college fest and it was a lot of fun. Connectivity to the college was very difficult since the college is located 5 km away from the main road and had no BMTC facility.

College is really good, although the infrastructure is a little outdated.
Placements: Placement is 100 percent, but packages are not sufficient. The average package is around 8 to 9 lakhs. Companies like Accenture and Google are the top recruiters, while other companies offer lower packages but hire a higher number of recruits. Students often take internships on their own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, and hostels are much better than in other colleges. The maid cleans every day, and proper sanitation is maintained. Rooms are spacious and offer both two-sharing and three-sharing options, whereas the food in the mess is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and they do help students. The management encourages teachers to engage equally with the students. The curriculum prepares students for the industry and teaches them software while providing training based on it.

Overall, it is a good campus, but for civil, the placements are average.
Placements: There are some good companies that give high packages. Mass recruiting companies like Bosch, TCS, etc., come and give approximately 3.6 Lacs per annum to 5 lacs per annum packages here. Around 40+ companies visit the campus every year. Being a visible student, I got an average package as the placements are fairly decent.
Infrastructure: The campus is very quiet and clean, and the maintenance is good. The canteen is spacious, and the classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. It can occupy up to 60 students. We have labs for all practical subjects, and the teaching methods include slides, blackboards, seminars etc. The hostel is good to stay in, with 2 and 3 sharing rooms. Wi-Fi is not good, and the mess food is not up to the mark.
Faculty: NMIT is well-known for its placements and extracurricular activities. Our drama club and dance club won a lot of competitions. There are all kinds of clubs with different activities around the year. The faculty members are good at NMIT. Teachers are mostly cooperative, and they help those who want to learn whenever they ask for it. All the faculty members have at least an M.Tech degree. Term exams are conducted well on time, and we get at least 2 months of summer break every time. It's not very difficult to pass the exams if you study sincerely.
Other: Fests, hackothons, and industrial visit, are all conducted. They have clubs also for sports and entertainment.
