NMIT Banagalore offers three porgrammes at PG level. The admission to 50% of MBA / MCA / M.Tech seats is through a valid score in PGCET and the remaining 50% admissions are done through Management quota. AICTE has approved an additional 15% seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake. Candidates who have passed graduation with 50% and for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and category-1 with 45% are eligible to apply for the programme. Candidates who wants to apply must have a valid score in PGCET/ KMAT/ CMAT.

Aspirants who have passed Second PUC/ Class 12 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for candidates belonging to Karnataka SC, ST and other Backward Classes Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility like marksheet and certificates for verification.

NMIT Bangalore accepts state-level entrance exam-Karnataka PGCET for MBA admission. 50% of the total seats are filled through PGCET. The other 50% of the total intake is filled through Management Quota. Admission through Management Quota is based on PGCET/ KMAT/ CMAT score. Such aspirants are eligible to apply during June/ July. 

NMIT Bangalore admission to BE is based on KCET/ COMEDK score. However, for admission through Management Quota, candidates must qualify NMIT Admission Test conducted by the institute. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission.

For the MBA course, the total seat intake at NMIT Bangalore is 120 out of which 50% of the total student intake is filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 50% is filled through KMAT/ CMAT/ Karnataka PGCET (management quota). The total tuition fee for MCA is INR 7 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. 

A pass in BCA or Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or BSc/ BA/ BCom with Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1) is required to apply for the MCA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

Admission to Diploma is course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination with at least 35% aggregate are eligible to apply for Diploma after Class 10 courses. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. 

Yes, the institute accepts Karnataka PGCET for admission through PGCET Quota. However, for admission through Management Quota, candidates can qualify KMAT or Karnataka PGCET. For the MCA course, 50% of the total student intake will be filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 50% is filled through KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET (Management Quota). Admissions to PG Management Category will be through first come first serve basis provided the student meets the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned in the website.

MTech is a two-year course offered in eight specialisations, namely Defence Technology, Data Science Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Machine Design, Renewable Energy, Structural Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, etc. Candidates must complete graduation in relevant disciplines with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1) to apply for MTech courses.
