A well balanced college with good infrastructure, faculty, mediocre curriculum.

Placements: In the year 2016-2017 around 600 students were placed across 70 odd companies. The major recruitment usually happened for Computer Science, IT and Electronics courses. Mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture recruit from all courses. Specifically for the Civil Engineering course, the core companies are limited and offer an average salary of 15,00 to 20,000 per month. As per my knowledge, the highest package was offered by Wallmart Labs who recruited one guy from Computer Science course. The p...

Dissatisfied with the college. Placements for IT students are good. Infrastructure is not good.

Placements: The placements were good for IT branches, but only a few core companies visit the campus. NMAM Institute did not meet the expectations concerning the norms promised. Placements for the students of the mechanical engineering department are not up to the mark. Please do not choose this course here. The companies like Infosys or Wipro visit the campus even to hire mechanical engineers.

Overall, the faculty are below average, infrastructure is decent, and placements are good.

Placements: Placements in the college were pretty good with more than 80% of the students getting placed in reputed companies across different industries like IT, telecom, electronics, construction etc. Infosys was the main recruiter. Companies like Sony, MindTree, and Wipro have also recruited a good percentage of students.

I am satisfied with my college. But even though im from mech branch im placed in IT company.

Placements: Placement opportunities for CS as well IS are excellent. Placements are almost 100% for CS And IS. Average placements for EC and EE. But poor placements when it comes to mechanical and civil core. Some mrc like infosys and accenture recruit large number of people from almost all branches.

The college is a good but if you are not a south Indian then it may cause you a bit of trouble.

Placements: The placements are actually good compared to those in most of the nearby colleges. Almost 85-90% of students get placed. The highest package goes up to 25 lakhs per annum while the average lies between 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum. The students are encouraged to go for internships while the college doesn't provide any.

There are good faculty members and infrastructure, and bad placements in 2017.

Placements: Over here, placements are good only for CS and IT departments. Placements are not so good when it comes to other branches. For mechanical, few core companies do come, but these companies only pick either one or two students of the entire lot. Many mechanical and other branch's students get placed in IT fields, though.

A decent college with great placements in the IT sector.

Placements: This college has fantastic placement records for CS, IS and EC branch. Hardly any core companies for civil, mechanical and EE come for placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and TCS select students from this college in bulk. If you an IT aspirant, it's for you.

The college was good only for a degree.

Placements: Only 2-3 core companies visited for mechanical branch and they take a few students only. A maximum of 20-25 students were placed in core companies. The rest of the students were placed in IT companies. Salary was also less, within 4.25 LPA. For core, Toyota, Kirloskar, etc. recruited the students in the management field. A locks and safe company recruited 4-5 students. Rest IT companies like Infy, Accenture, Wipro, etc. visited for recruitment. Overall, the placement was 55-65%. No one got an in...

Satisfactory placement, infrastructure, curriculum. Boon for nature lovers.

Placements: Placement was good For CS, ECE & IS branches. Jobs offered were for a software engineer or developer. For core branches, merely 4-5 companies visited. The package for software jobs ranged from 3 to 10 lakhs. Worst placement record was for civil engineering. One good point is that it has been awarded as one of the best start-up districts. It has got a platform known as NAIN club, which encourages the students to work on their innovative ideas. It also helps them in providing fund from the state ...

It's not a good college. The main problem of this college is location ,it is in the jungle where you will find nothing. You will find a very few shop over there. Hostel food is average. you can survive. The playground is worst. Learning environment is not there. One will be asked to write assignment ten times. Scoring is tough because teachers are preplanned to not give marks.

Although this college showed promising placements prior to 2010 batches, there was a steep decline after that reconciling with the location of the college. I had found the placement department hardly enthusiastic towards placing the non IT students. Campus life and facilities are adequate.

NMAMIT, NITTE is under top 15 best Engineering Colleges under VTU. It is among one of the autonomous college. Pros: 1. Campus is good. 2. Management is very strict. 3. Hostel facilities including playing ground is awesome. 4. Course offered are good. 5. Only few lectures are good. 6. Placement is okay. Cons: 1. College Management should be little more practical as they simply impose unwanted rules and regulation. 2. Library is not good. 3. Management should bring skilled professor and lecturer...

Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in different companies. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 10 LPA by Oracle. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, etc. Internships were offered at top companies.

Review of NITTE Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but it’s not true for all branches. Generally, for electronics and communications, the placement rate is up to 100%, and the same holds true for computer science and information science. Rest of the branches don’t have good placement records. However, they are trying their best. In recent year, placements for the mechanical branch are getting better.
