Placement for Finance is good. Most of the placements are in Banking and Consulting areas. Many students are also placed in insurance, risk management and analyst positions. Most of them who took good jobs are in Ernst and Young, Deutsche Bank, India Bulls, and Thomson Reuters.

National School of Business is A+ rated and is ranked among the best. NSB is 24th Best B-School brand and is ranked 7th best in India for placements and is ranked 14th best in terms of ROI. The college has a reasonable fee structure of 90k per semester. Average salary scale offered to the students are 4.3L pa. More over the college is in collaboration with ESC -Pau where the students are given a chance to opt out student exchange programme for a duration of 2.5 - 3.0 months in any of the four semesters along with their usual Mysore University exams and PGP programme(Dual certificate). College has a vibrant atmosphere filled with club activities, seminars, symposiums, peer learning sessions handled by quality circles, experiential learnings(retail outlets -10days),adventure trips etc. We have experienced professors who have real-time teaching as well as corporate experience which is indeed a boost for the student community to fine tune themselves with industry driven corporate work atmosphere. I'd say NSB is a good choice. Placements won't be a matter of concern if you've followed the basic rules of learnings, attendance, and hard work. NSB has proven its track record by placing students at KPMG,E&Y, Capegemini,HSBC,Thomson Reuters,Angel Broking,SSgA,XL Dynamics and the list goes on.
Yes, the college does have an Entrepreneurship cell, which incorporates all the programmes(seminar, activities etc) associated for the overall holistic development of the student. You may also keep in touch with the seniors of NSB for further inputs. Good Luck:). Regards

Hi Abhisjek,
Good day!
Studying in international destination is the life goal of many students. However, not all can go abroad to study abroad due to high fees in foreign universities. Therefore, NSB has figured out an opportunity for students to complete one semester in France/Spain. Exchange is a situation where foreign partner university will send some of their students to NSB fro studies and some of our NSB students will go to international partner universities. It is free because, students are not required to pay any additional fees. You just have to take care of your air-tickets and visa expenses. Yes, it would be an added feature to your career and aids in getting a better edge to place yourself unlike others.

Hi Swapnil,Good Day!Sorry for the delayed response! For your kind information its always better to go for Traditional [HR, Fin, Marketing etc] or General [PGDMs offered by IIMs] MBA programs.
