Hi Kumaran,
About NSB : National School of Business is A+ rated and is ranked among the best. NSB is 24th Best B-School brand and is ranked 7th best in India for placements and is ranked 14th best in terms of ROI. The college has a reasonable fee structure of 90k per semester. Average salary scale offered to the students are 4.3 Lacs p.a. More over the college is in collaboration with ESC -Pau where the students are given a chance to opt out student exchange programme for a duration of 2.5 - 3.0 months in any of the four semesters along with their usual Mysore University exams and PGP programme(Dual certificate). College has a vibrant atmosphere filled with club activities, seminars, symposiums, peer learning sessions handled by quality circles, experiential learnings(retail outlets -10days),adventure trips etc. We have experienced professors who have real-time teaching as well as corporate experience which is indeed a boost for the student fraternity to fine tune themselves with industry driven corporate work atmosphere. I'd say NSB is a good choice. My ratings : Faculty(4.8/5), Atmosphere(4.2/5), Infrastructure(3.45/5), Internships & Placements(4/5). Your second part of the question: Every B school has its own unique characteristics. Students opt out B-schools based on various criteria's., say the campus, learning environment, placements, library, club activities, faculties, student exchange programmes,ROI.etc and so on. Also, the ultimate decision maker should be the eligible and prospective student in choosing and settling down for his/her choice of B-school. I should say, I've not regretted joining NSB:) Hope I've answered your query. Best regards,
