College is average, can improve.
Placements: 40% of students were placed in well-known companies like Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, etc. Placements are average in this college but many MNC and other well-known companies come in this college to select best students from all students. The skill package is given around 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is under construction, but the classrooms are very good, and digital classrooms are available. Also, computer labs are very nice. There are 7-8 labs and each lab has around 20-25 computers. Hostel is average but the facilities are good in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty in the college are very nice. All teachers are good; their teaching is very nice. Exams are conducted according to the MSBTE board. Teachers keep an eye on students while exams. To avoid cheating, surveillance cameras are placed in the classrooms.
Other: Crowd is average and the campus of the college is very big. Coconut trees and all greenery are on the campus. A fresh air atmosphere is available on campus.

B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2020

2Placements2Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
It is not a good college.
Placements: The placement rate was not that good. No top companies have visited here. Only mid-level companies visited this college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Most students get only Rs. 10,000 per month. Internship opportunities were not available. You have to find your own way.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in the library but not in classrooms. Hostel facilities were of very low quality. You will not find a good environment for staying at the hostel. The mess food was not good. Health issues will start the day you start eating food from the mess. Sports were good enough.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but not knowledgeable. They wanted to help us, but they didn't have the knowledge of the latest technologies. The curriculum was 60 years old. Nothing was changed in the curriculum. The teaching quality was very low. You will not be industry-ready. Passing exams is very easy here.
Other: I have done instrumentation engineering. It has a bright future, but you must complete this course at a premium college or you will struggle greatly.

Total rating of the college is 7 out of 10.
Placements: 30% students were placed from campus placement. 10% students have been placed from off campus placements and the remaining are still looking for jobs. The highest package in our batch is 4 LPA and the lowest package is 2.75 LPA. Cognizant, TCS, Infosys are the top recruiters. Due to COVID, our college doesn’t allow our batch for internship, and instead we should do projects. Programme analyst trainee in Cognizant, assistant system engineer in TCS and Infosys are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but only 25 MB per day after signup. Private Wi-Fi is only for the teachers. Labs are good but not available for everyone. We do practicals in groups. Classrooms are big and good in terms of infrastructure. Library is big in size and separate study tables and lots of book are presebt. Hostel facility is poor, 3 students in one room. In hostel, they give free Wi-Fi unlimited but laptops and electronic devices are not allowed in the hostel. Mess is good and the canteen is also in a good condition. Medical facility available is only as first aid kit. There is a big ground for games and annual sports competition is organized by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and qualified but they get wrong subjects to teach. We have python subject which is taught by a VLSI professor. Course curriculum is relevant. They make students industry ready but the overall success rate is low. Questions papers are planned by the University and their difficulty level is medium. 60 marks are for the written paper and 24 marks are the passing marks.

The college has two faces. If you are from a non-tech branch, you can get an average placement.
Placements: You only need 60% to 65% to get admission in CSE (aids), while 65% to 70% is required for CSE I. That’s it. Based on your CGPA and skills, you can expect an average package of 3 lakh to a maximum of 7 to 9 lakh per annum. Top companies like TCS, SQE, Spider, and more than 2 to 3 are major hiring companies in college. Additionally, college has small companies and startups (only for eligible students). However, securing an internship from college is extremely challenging, almost impossible for students, but it’s not impossible for someone.
Also, you can get an unpaid internship from college for getting 6 months to 1 year of work experience.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not so much experienced for technical branches, but maths teachers were good. But also, I am in my 1st year, so I don’t know as much. But maths and mechanic chemistry teachers were good, but computer teachers were not.
Hostel was also average, yeah, but you have available WiFi from 5 p.m. to 10 am but at college time, like from 10 to 5, WiFi is off, so you can use it after college only.
Faculty: Yeah, the teachers are highly qualified in math mechanic chem phy communication subjects. They are all PhD holders and can deliver perfect knowledge to you. Yes, this course is relevant. It can boost your confidence and help you gain knowledge. But it's totally up to you how you respond to their words . Semester exams are a little bit difficult to face. The end semester is very hard to face. Yeah, you get the most expected questions like in 10th and 12th. But still, it's hard.
Other: If you are from a non-tech branch like electric, machine, these branches can get placed easily through college, but CSE and aids, which aim to introduce batches in college, don't have as many placements.
