BLIS is a one-year course for the candidate having Under Graduate degree with minimum fifty percent marks. MLIS is a two years course following the post graduate degree which requires BLIS/BLISc degree with minimum 50% marks. Information retrieval, classification, digital libraries, knowledge management, and archives management are main courses offered. Admission is merit-based. BLIS graduates receive average starting salary of INR 2 to 6 Lacs per annum and students with MLIS degree get an average starting salary of INR 4 to 8 Lacs per annum. Carrying capacity for enrollment is 60 students per batch.
