To be eligible to the B.E. / B.Tech programme in the Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET), candidates must have an upper secondary education qualification (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as principal subjects. They should acquire at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination which is relaxed to 45% in case of students belonging to reserved categories. Candidates must also hold a valid score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counseling or recognised entrance exams such as JEE Main. For B.E. in Computer Science Engineering, the cutoff for the general category was 52,200 while the cutoff for SC category was 99,175. B.E. cutoff was:. in Mechatronics Engineering was 63,908 for General and 67,440 for SC. B.E. in Biomedical Engineering cutoffs were 33,070 for General and 69,608 for SC.
