NIFT is a National Institute, which provides more exposure and advantages. NIFT offers better alumni base than Pearl.

In pearl academy All students get to learn the latest international trends through masterclasses by global experts and can also avail international summer / exchange programs. Being a private college it obviously has more fees than NID or NIFT. So don't take it lightly. The greatest downfall of this college is that:
It isn't UGC recognised. It doesn't have a very good reputation, say as nift Delhi. It takes in almost everyone. It isn't selective in terms of who it takes in. So don't expect a very creative crowd. Most reviews from students are like they are not at all satisfied from the college and its placements after spending so much on education. In Lovely professional university Provides exposure in fashion design and apparel manufacturing technology while training students in pattern making and garment construction. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. Fee is also reasonably good not so much high. It make you aware how to explore your creative ideas, develop your skills, make you aware from legal aspects regarding fashion industry, you gonna clarity of communication regarding design and projects. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Out of pearl academy and lpu university I suggest you Lovely professional university is far better than pearl academy.

Not many placements, if it is then it will be only local. Better to choose NIFT college.
