B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by PES College of Engineering
4.2

Really good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: Above the CGPA of 8 will have a better opportunity to get placed. The highest package is 25lpa and the lowest will be 3lpa. The companies can be Bosch, Accenture, and many other startups. Around 89% of students get internships every year from the ECE branch. The students can get the position of software developer, or data analyst, and in core companies, they get more opportunities according to their knowledge.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms and labs, a vast library, and also 24x7 Wi-Fi available in any corner of the campus. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Medical assistance is available all the time. Sports grounds are very vast and beautiful anyone in need or anyone who needs to practice anytime, ground will be available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and give the assistance at anytime. Since the course mainly focuses on hardware people can also get into software according to their interest. Faculty members give knowledge in both ways. The exams will be at a moderate level. The faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding PhDs in their respective fields. Most professors are approachable and encourage discussions, but a few rely heavily on theoretical teaching rather than practical applications.

Good to complete an engineering degree.
Placements: 40% students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, vertex sonata, etc. We get average internships provided by our college, as compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not so good. Wi-Fi facilities are not so good and also, lab equipment are too old to use. Some of them are not in proper working condition as per my knowledge. The quality of hostel is not so good enough to stay. The facilities are not satisfying.
Faculty: Pass percentage is less. Teachers are helpful but their way of teaching is average as per my knowledge. The syllabus is much more and the pass percentage is less. It is an average college.

Campus placements and infrastructure.
Placements: 95 percent were placed in CSE Branch. To my knowledge, the highest was 30lpa, the least was 8lpa, and the average of 10lpa. Mostly tech companies and startups offering a good package like IBM, TruGlobal, and others. Almost everybody gets an internship after the 3rd year in their related fields.
Infrastructure: The hostel is decent as it is a new hostel for 1st years. They stick to the menu and some specified foods are limited. Clean rooms and washrooms, and the warden is pretty chill. The quality of the food is average but not too bad and we get chicken thrice a week.
Faculty: Exams are hard in this college. Being a private institute, they give the hardest paper known to mankind. Teaching is good, and the teachers are friendly while others aren't. Course curriculums are strictly maintained and they only go through that. It's called Calendar of Events.

Our college has a good infrastructure but I am little disappointed about placements in 2023.
Placements: In our college, almost 95% of students are placed in both IT companies and core companies. Top recruiting companies like Vitesco, Proxylera, JSW, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are software engineer and data analyst. Almost 60% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: We have our college website where we get access to notes and previous years' question papers. The canteen is well maintained. We have good infrastructure for sports. Wi-Fi is available all around the college. Our labs are well-maintained and well-equipped. The mess food is not good.
Faculty: Our teachers are student-friendly and are available whenever we have doubts to clear. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Even semesters are more complicated than odd semesters. The pass percentage is based on clearing all subjects without having any backlogs.
Other: I chose this course because I will have two options for job applications i.e., IT and core companies.

Heaven for students .
Placements: About 80% of ECE students are placed in campus placement drives. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.3 LPA. Benz, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart and many other core companies come for placement. About 70% of students get internships in which roles like member of management, group leader are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are good. Library is a sea of books for students. Hostel is good with average food, sports is well supported and games can be played in free time. The hostel manager will cooperate with you in a good manner.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. Our principal is very helpful.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't get CS but now I feel EC is better than CS. Our course is the best course in our college so I think there is no need for any improvement. Fests and events are organized in PESCE. Every year you get a scholarship of 18000/- from the government.

I don't have access to specific information about colleges or their admission processes. It's also unclear which college you are referring to in your question.
However, generally speaking, admission to engineering programs depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number

Fees and scholarship-
For candidates taking admission via COMED-K, the fee is INR 1 lakh 20k for the 1st year. For CET, its comparatively lower at around 35k.
Then, scholarship is there according to pre-university marks.
15-20 percent students get scholarships.
