Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is a very prominent institution. It offers a variety of courses with an enticing curriculum as well. Although it follows a specific admissions process for particular courses, for a B. Tech. in Computer Engineering, which is a full-time, 4-year UG degree course, candidates must have a passing score on the 10+2 (or equivalent) test and a valid JEE Main or MHT CET score to be eligible to apply for this course.
After that, they can fill out an application form and opt for the college-specific entrance exam to get a valid score. So, on a competitive and merit basis, admission for B. Tech. in Computer Engineering is offered at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering only.

As a current student of Cummins College, I think the college is quite good. With the newly established academic autonomy, I agree, they are experimenting different methods on us, because of which, we also do not always get the best grades; but guess what. We get to learn a lot of new stuff We do not really have fixed textbooks and not everything in the tests is out of a particular book. We have to find books and answers, compile our notes and then write the paper. In this process, we end up learning a lot of new and interesting stuff I don't like every subject that I study, but because of the continuous assessment pattern and encouragement of self study, I, at least, like most of them. We have very interesting practical projects and assignments and we thoroughly enjoy most of our lab sessions. Since we are the first batch of the autonomy, it goes unsaid that we are the official guinea pigs, and we do not like it. We do not. But then, we say so. We write honest feedback and get the particular thing altered by the next time. Sometimes we feel that the staff is not ready for autonomy as they struggle just as much as we do, but, it is not a deal breaker.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Pune boasts of an amazing placement record. Not only do they get the information technology companies such as Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro Technologies and Capegemini, but also automotive companies such as Audi, Mahindra, Bajaj, Honda, Mercedes, and many more. They even have a really good off campus record, and students have been recruited in good numbers by the Indian Navy too. Around 90% of the students who are eligible for placements get really good offers in all these companies.
The average starting salary rangers from 4 lakhs to 8 lakhs per annum. The highest salary here has gone up to as much as 36 lakh rupees per annum. Therefore, this college has been really good as far as placements are concerned, and it looks to stay this way, with Pune having witnessed a recent growth in the number of industries setting up offices there. It is one of the best options you can have. Admission to this college is done through the MHT-CET. Do let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

First of all, congratulations on your results. The admission cutoff for JEE Main is the opening and closing ranks for each government institute, like NIT. This will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). You will be allocated NIT, GFTI, or IIIT on the basis of JoSAA counseling. With reference to your query, you will need to appear for the counseling process at the college for admission. Based on the information you have given, you have some chances of getting into Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE) and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune, for certain courses like B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, where the admission cut-off is usually on the lower side. For instance, for PCCOE Pune, it was under 2 Lacs in the JEE main rank in 2021. Therefore, your admission will be subject to your category, seat availability, and branch-wise cut-off. You can also use the Shiksha platform's JEE Main College Predictor 2022 (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor) to get more specific recommendations based on courses, fees, and rank. Here you need to enter your JEE rank or percentile, gender, category, and domicile to get recommendations of possible good colleges.
