If anyone has CMAT percentile between 95 and 100, he/she can apply for Jaipuria Institute of Management. Remember the CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT score contribute to 45% weightage only during admission process, other factors like your GD, PI, past experience, and your academic performance contribute to 65%. So, prepare well for the personal interview and group discussion also. Let me share the weightage of scores during admission process, it will clear the doubts from the first part of the question:
Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT 45% weightage
Case-based Group Discussion - 15%
Personal Interview - 20%
Academic Performance - 15%
Work Experience, Sports and Extracurricular Activities - 5%
If you do well in others too, with such decent score in CMAT you might be eligible for good scholarship as well. Now, regarding the second part of the question. The ministry of Human resource has place both Principal L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research and Jaipuria Institute of Management in the top 75 b-schools of India. So, both are good. However the choice is yours. You can do analysis, gather placement data, most importantly it depends on where you live. I hope you know that Mumbai is the most expensive city to live in India. My preference would be Jaipuria Institute of Management - Lucknow.

Dear Ankit, Being a alumni of LPU, I would say, Lovely Professional University is best University in terms of placements, academics, exposure etc. Lovely Professional University has become a leading and a progressive educational hub in North India. Owing to the global approach that they adopt to instill the practicalities of their respective careers into the students has made LPU the most preferred educational destination among the students these days. The placements are comparatively high in LPU than Sharda University. About 90% of the students get placed every year in our department. Many well-known companies visit here for placement. If you have a fine knowledge of the subject, you will surely get placed. The highest package goes from 7 Lacs to 42 Lacs, and the average is up to 5 Lacs. Ministry of Human Resource Government of India Ranked Lovely Professional University No. 2 in India in Management. LPU has recently Marked among Top 50 Best Management Institutes by NIRF ranking 2020. Also, LPU has won National Employability Award 2020. LPU is proud recipient. Of Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with Best Placements in India. There are good faculty members that help you become more dedicated to the studies and helps you at each and every phase in your studies. Faculty is best. They provide us basic as well as core knowledge and makes you learn in a better way. At the end of a tiring day or week, everyone expects entertainment and refreshing ways to uplift their daily boring schedule. But here in LPU, they conduct so many big events where they call popular celebrities and help their students to feel more alive and energetic, which make the life in LPU more of fun. Hostels:-The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Next comes food, the mess here is super hygienic and provides us with quality food four times a day. The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly SEE the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college. While studying at Lovely Professional University, you will get option for Credit transfer programme, Semester exchange programme, International Exposure programme and Master abroad programme. Thank you!
