Hi Kishore,
It is good to study in PSGIM as compared to Amritha. PSGIM has a rich diversity of management programs PGDM, MBA and two foreign MBA Programs. Also, PSGIM provides 100% assurance for placements. The option of companies coming to college varies every year based on the current market trend. The companies which you get in depends on how you perform in two years of your studies.
All the best.

Hi Kishore,
I'm a current student in the PGDM batch at PSGIM. My batch has a cumulative work experience of 80 years coming from diverse industry backgrounds, from engineers to life coaches, entrepreneurs and chartered accountants. It is therefore an incredible place to learn, both from our professors and peers (the professors, by the way have decades of experience in teaching and are highly qualified).
In terms of placements, the University puts a great deal of effort to getting you placed. The road to placements begins from the first year itself, with many sessions to correct whatever weaknesses you may have. So by the time you get to the final stage, you'll be well prepared and ready. Placements are a great source of pride for the university, so if are willing to put in the effort, the faculty will do everything in their power to make sure you succeed.
So if you're interested in doing an MBA program, I'd highly suggest giving PSGIM's PGDM program a shot. Your batch mates will most likely be a mature bunch and the classes are great and easy to slip back into after working full-time for a while. The alumni here is exceptionally strong and could prove highly useful if you may need a leg up in the future.
Best of luck in whatever you choose, Kishore. Hopefully we'll get to see you here soon.

The difference is not much in terms of placement record as you compare the average salaries across the schools. But the decisive factors are the ROI on your fee payment. Check on that aspect by comparing the fee structure and map

Dear Yazhini,
The difference is not much in terms of placement record as you compare the average salaries across the schools. But the decisive factors are the ROI on your fee payment. Check on that aspect by comparing the fee structure and mapping it to your goals in the end. Chennai is a strategic location for most of the opportunities. SSN fee structure and SSN strategic location could be evaluated. I advise that you visit all the three schools and make an informed choice.

Not Sure, but you can give it a try, as you have a chance through your BC Rank and also have other more options than PSG and TSM, and if you have made up your mind with MBA, first apply to TSM and PSGIM.

You can choose PSG without any doubt. When compared to Madras University, PSG is very much better in all the aspects. All the best!

As your community rank is 300 there are less chances of getting admission, but there may be chance of getting admission, any way try your best.
