The college provides good infrastructure and qualified faculty members.
Placements: I am from 2017 batch, and 10 students got placed from our branch in our batch. Companies like Wipro and HCL visit our college for internships, and they offer a good amount of salary packages. In the previous year, 5 students got placed in Wipro, and it offered up to 4 LPA for data analyst role.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility and canteen are also available here. There is a huge ground to play cricket and football. The college also has a basketball court and a separate library for both boys and girls. Labs for each department are also available, and every department has qualified faculty members.
Faculty: Teachers in our colleges are well qualified, good and kind. They are always available for students to solve their difficulties related to subjects or out of syllabus. Their way of teaching is humour and excellent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. Lots of practical things and hard-working can improve my skills, development as well as others. You can also pursue in our college through scholarships. Events and social activities are also conducted in our college.

Absolutely dissatisfied. Very poor infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Not a single company came to college for placement. It is the worst college in the country. Don't go to these private colleges. According to my experience, they don't have proper infrastructure for courses like B.Tech. There is a placement cell in the college, but they were not able to get any company in the college except 1 training company who asked 30,000 rupees for training and then they told they would provide placement if trainee will be able to fulfil all parameters set by them.
Infrastructure: It has the worst infrastructure. There is Wi-Fi in the campus. The classroom is just normal like we used to have in our schools. No good books are available in the library. Only books with the local authors were there. There was 1 small room in the name of the medical facility, but there was no any doctor. You will not get anything in the name of sports. According to them, if we will play, we will not be able to pass the exam. Food in the college is very bad. They charge Rs. 40000 for the hostel but curries, other stuff other than rice and bread were limited. You can not take curries more than twice. They also serve very less quantity.
Faculty: M.Tech students of college used to teach us. Many of them don't have proper knowledge of their subjects. Their main work is to tell about the questions which could come in exams. You will have to read / learn from yourself. Teachers are not capable of preparing you for next-generation engineers. They will ruin your life.
Other: Only one event used to be there which is freshers party. On that part, only 2nd-year student and fresher's were allowed. Guard of the campus was given too much authority who can event beat students. There were not many students in the campus. You will get only fields around the campus. It will be like a village. Money is very important for them they will overcharge you in the name of extra fee. They even did not refund my security fee and asked me to write an application that I am donating my security fee to college. Otherwise, they told I would not get my degree.

A review on Punjab College of Engineering and Technology (PGC).
Placements: I am working as an officer in Bank of Baroda, but it was not from campus placement. I prepared for IBPS PO, and then, passed a competitive examination on all India basis, then I went to Baroda Manipal School of Banking. After one year of training, I was posted as an officer in Bank of Baroda.
Infrastructure: I would rate the infrastructure as 3/5, as the infrastructure of the college is not great, and has to be improved. The environment of the college has to be great for the overall development. Rest all was satisfactory.
Faculty: The extracurricular activities should be taken care of for the overall improvement of the students. Academics sections should be improved, and the placement should be taken care of. Another playground should be there for the students. Rest all are satisfactory.
Other: The events and fests are satisfactory.

Really good infrastructure with qualified faculty with a good environment to become a graduate.
Placements: 80% of student got internships and got placed placement drive organized by college. Minimum requirement to get placed should be all clear in all semesters at the time of organised placement. Average salary offered that time is 3.4 Lacs per year. All students were placed as GET (Graduate engineering. Trainee) post.
Infrastructure: Basic Infrastructure such as Wi-Fi, Labs, sports ground etc. Are better. Classrooms and Hostel rooms are well. Catering of hostel are well enough to adjust with your home foods. As most requirement for today of internet which will ve all over the campus. Hostel room are well ventilated and campus is pollution free. Hostel environment for study is well.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful with not only study but they are also keen to improve your overall faculty members are mostly qualified with Doctorate and with M.Tech degrees. Ratio of student-faculty is about 20:1 which is more fine. All students from 3rd semester in respective branches get industry exposure within per semester.

The review of Punjab College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The placements are not available in the college. They show that they have contact with many companies, but in reality, it is null. In this college student waste the time and nothing else. The internal examination marking is very poor.
Infrastructure: The college administration provides good facilities. Administration shows the Wi-Fi facility in the campus but we not allowed to use college Wi-FI yet. There are many good labs, a medical facility in the college. The sports ground is also present in the college. The infrastructure should be good.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but some are not. Almost all the teachers are qualified, but some are pursuing M.Tech. Their teaching quality was good not best. The diploma course is good at this institute.
Other: The campus is not crowded.

Average college with heavy potential.
Placements: Leading firms frequently visit the campus for CS/IT students. Placement for civil and mechanical involves local area companies. Up to 40-50 percent placements have been done on average. Up to 6 LPA has been offered as the highest salary where as 2.4 LPA has been the lowest.
Infrastructure: Like every other private college you visit, PGC has a great infrastructure. Spacious and lush green environment, advanced attendance system, proper Wi-Fi facilities, smart classrooms, proper labs, etc. However, the hostel has been little messy at times, and food served to students was not good. Canteens inside the campus, however, offer good food.
Faculty: A person goes to PGC because he couldn't qualify for government colleges. However, those who want to do something can get help from the library and faculty members with higher qualifications. They help those who want to help themselves. Regular seminars, industrial visits are conducted for professional exposure. HCL Technologies offers wide range of skill development programmes within the campus.
Other: The only problem that has always been consistent was related to fee submissions. Advance fees for every following semester is collected by the college failing which the students are not allowed to appear in end semester examinations. The college is located in a remote location, 4 km from the city area. So it's a little lonely outside the campus. Banking facility is offered to every student of PGC by Indian Overseas bank.
