Same syllabus as ECE, even for VLSI students.
Placements: We are the first batch in the VLSI domain at this college. As of now (2024), 236 students have been placed in the ECE department. In the CSE department, 6 students were placed in Unisys with a package of 7 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the average stood at 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is substandard with old benches and furniture, although the skilling classrooms have been recently upgraded. The college hostel is not up to the mark, and the food quality is poor. Although Wi-Fi is available, it is not reliable. The library access is limited to only once a week, and participation in sports is restricted to selected students.
Faculty: The VLSI faculty members are somewhat disappointing as there is no proper guidance for using the VLSI lab (Cadence tool). Students often have to resort to learning the tool’s terminology from external sources like YouTube. The college timings are long, running from 9 AM to 5 PM, with little value addition. Even support staff like watchmen can be quite rude. The CRT classes are irrelevant for VLSI students as they primarily focus on software coding, application, and web development.
Other: The overall environment in the college is restrictive, as they try to mold students into strict professionals. Events and fests are rare and usually average in scale.

Overall, the college is good for those seeking quality education and discipline.
Placements: All students are eligible for placements, except those with more than 3 backlogs. Many companies visit our college for recruitment, offering an average package of 4 LPA. However, the number of internships provided is comparatively less.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, with well-equipped computer labs and workshops. Each department has the necessary lab equipment and trained lab assistants. While the campus infrastructure is commendable, the hostels are average, and the canteen food is good. However, sports facilities are limited.
Faculty: The college has well-trained faculty members with strong educational backgrounds. They encourage students to work on projects and participate in various competitions. The college environment is conducive to learning. Although exams are challenging, they are manageable with proper preparation.
Other: QIS College encourages students to participate in college selection processes and motivates them to engage in extracurricular activities.

Overall, the college is good, with adequate infrastructure and supportive faculty.
Placements: An average percentage of students secure placements. Students get fewer internships compared to other colleges. Our college is well-known in the area for its placement. Students gain knowledge about placements and internships while studying.
Infrastructure: The facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness is commendable. The canteen offers good quality food, while the mess food is average. The medical facilities are reliable, with a dispensary available on campus. Although sports are not given as much preference as academics, a sports culture does exist within the college.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, very helpful, and the overall teaching quality is good. The curriculum helps students gain industrial knowledge and encourages self-learning. The semester exams are relatively difficult, and the pass percentage is similar to other colleges.
Other: There are fewer events and fests, but student communication and engagement in activities are commendable.
