For general merit students these rankings are good enough. For ECE @ RVCE Considering the same board marks I. e 296/300. For general merit students you must score 165 or above, then your rank will be below 220. This should be enough to get a seat at RVCE. I know its tough to get score such high marks. But smart work can beat anything. All the best folks! PS:- I have not mentioned about cutoffs for students with any sort of reservation because trends change randomly as seat allotment is considered. Ranks much below general merit can fetch them a seat.

(any stream) (3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. HEY!
First of all, it depends on what branch you want.I am assuming you are aspiring for top branches (Just because the cutoff are high) like CS,EC or IS. In that case , you need a really good rank ( approx below 700-800) to be safe. You can check comedk site for last year cutoff.
Translating the rank to marks can be difficult as it depends on the difficulty of paper set and the relative response of other candidates line you.For example, during my year , the paper was difficult and lengthy I scored 117 marks with a rank of 900. It varies and fluctuates a lot. Just prepare your best.

Aerospace engineering has become a very sought after branch in a small span of time. There is an immense future job prospects and the college is number one. Aerospace has become top 5 branches of RVCE in recent times. CSE&get;ISE&get;ECE&get;MECH&get;AERO
so the cutoff which you should be looking at must be around 2000 in first round and most probably around 2500 in second round. I will also advise you to keep checking the COMEDK official website as they have not uploaded while I am writing this. I hope this will help. Thanks.
