RV College of Engineering is one of the best autonomous institutes of India and a much-preferred institution due to its prime location, excellent placement, government funding and old establishment.
It has seen a nice placement scenario for past few years also with the struggling branches such as aerospace.
Aerospace, now, in India has a wide scope in research when it comes to ISRO and other research organizations, still, it is unable to find the mass scope required as same as it shows and frames at the global level.
The placement here for aerospace at RV College of Engineering is considered best be with an average of 6 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA in the recent campus recruitment drive.
The highest placement achiever was though not from campus drive but applied separately in Airbus, and got selected after a couple of screenings and interviews.
Although, Airbus has a wide scope in countries such as France and Germany where every aerospace student dreams to work.
Thank you.
All the best.

This is an autonomous institute and is located in the prime location of South India which is home to a large number of global and national corporates and is called the Silicon Valley of India. The difference where the students create is primarily based on the branch chosen. Though MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is working well under the funding of state government and regarded as one if the preferred institution but when it comes to telecommunication then RV College of Engineering has a placement plus point when compared regarding CSE. Though telecommunication branch is also a technical branch and finds a wide scope at the global perspective still the recent record shows the lead of CSE from RV College of Engineering. It is advisable to definitely go with CSE from RV College of engineering although one may go with telecommunication if one is having the passion for the same. The average placement from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology in telecommunication is 7 Lacs per annum with 14 Lacs being the highest. Whereas from RV College of engineering, the placements on an average are of 10 Lacs per annum with 22 Lacs being the highest in the recent placement drives. From the above facts, it is clear that which branch and college is having a lead. Therefore, take a wise decision but go with your passion. Thank you, hope it helped.

There are nice placements for chemical engineering in RV College of Engineering.
Although, one need not expect a high salary package for CSE students though exceptions may be there, but the chemical engineers have to satisfy themselves for a low starting salary package.
Though the progress and promotions are countless in the field and can be achieved by skilled learning in the undergraduate phase.
Now, when it comes to placements, the average placements are around 5 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA.
The life of a chemical engineer is full of surprises and challenges but revolve around the chemicals and theory related to it.
Though RV College of Engineering is the preferred branch and one of the most vibrant campuses of India and you can live the golden four years of life with fun and enjoyment, also scoring well in exams.
The college teaches the students to be skilled but not educated from only the theory point of view because, in my personal view, if one gets the placements on the basis of the marks will further face hardships in life when it comes to competing with the skilled ones.

Hi,
The answer to your question involves multiple dynamics and it is not possible to answer it in terms of a single factor. So, I'll try to include multiple factors for you to understand it better.
Faculty: Both the colleges have equally knowledgeable faculty. However, professors in RVCE are inclined towards research. This is the reason why you would see multiple patents coming out of the department. Also, CISCO has established COE (Center of Excellence) within the college wherein the company supports students innovations and fund their projects.
Infrastructure: Both the colleges have multiple labs. RVCE has an added advantage of particular labs set up by companies like Nvidia which provides excellence in the specific domain.
Placements: Placement is something that every student is concerned about more than anything else. Well, both the colleges have equally good placements. RVCE-CSE current semester placements boast the package of 25 LPA and still counting. These are offered by top giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Walmart Labs, Mckinsey & Co., etc.
While both the colleges are equally good in terms of placements, I would suggest you go for RVCE if you are planning to go for Master's degree right after college.
Hope it helps.

Hi Salman,
I've asked some of the seniors here and as per them, M.Tech in structures is not that much good in RVCE. They are saying Manipal and BMS are much better.
All the best.

Hello Sumit,
RVCE doesn't consider JEE Mains and Advanced marks. You can get admission by taking ComedK, KCET or through management quota.
