Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

Absolutely, placements are too good.

Placements: There are very good placements, especially in data science departments; almost all the students got offers except those with backlogs. The college secured more than 1500 offers in 2024, 1900+ offers in 2023, and 2300+ offers in 2022. The top companies like Amazon, IBM, Cisco, Deloitte, Infosys, Accenture, TechMahindra, Juspay, Pega, and a lot more visit campus every year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good; the college provides good classrooms, and the library is one of the biggest in Visakhapatnam. Even the hostels are air-conditioned, and they are well maintained. The labs are fully furnished. There are more than 1100 systems in the lab. The labs are highly equipped. Even the campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity up to 1 GB/s.

Faculty: Faculty are too good; they try to teach more apart from the syllabus. They even provide a lot of sources to learn something new. They even encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities and even apply for internships. In academics, securing good marks and percentages is not difficult if students regularly follow the exam curriculum.

Other: Data science is present and booming across the software sector, so the college included extra subjects for the specialisation in data science. Everything is good, but washrooms have to be a little bit improved. There are a lot of events conducted every year. Avishkar for new innovation, Sparks Fest, and a lot more are conducted every year.

Not much enjoyment in college; very old principles and dressing instructions; still no modern vibes.

Placements: Approximately 65% of students have been placed in the data course. The college has the highest placement history in a year and the numbers are increasing. The lowest is INR 3 LPA. The average is INR 8 lpa.The highest is INR 45 LPA. Amazon, TCS, etc. offers jobs every year. 40% of people got internship stipends at TCS. Data analyst and data manager are the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi for students and no proper signal here on campus. The labs are good, the classrooms are neat, and the spacious library is good, but there are separate sections for boys and girls for reading. Canteen food is horrible. not good taste, very poor maintenance. The hostel food is not good; even after complaints, they don't even care about students. Medical facilities are there, and sports are available in the respective periods. We can play on the ground.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are well skilled and trained; they have done Ph.D. and M.T., and their teaching skills are very helpful for exams and easy to understand. Our data science course is the most trending course in the present world. It comprises data management and analytics of user data, which is very important in this teaching world. The exams are conducted very carefully; they don't allow any copying or malpractice. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: Data science has the best future in the modern world, with more job opportunities. This course has a modern syllabus related to the present job curriculum. Ease of course, availability of more seats, and making the students educated about the data science course benefits everyone. Events happen from August to January only. The crowd is very huge for every event, connectivity is good for all college students, and the campus surroundings are neat and clean and well maintained. Our college feels like JVD, and many events, games, and activities are organized every month.

Good placements in 2002.

Placements: Hi, this is TEGALA ANANTHA RAMCHARAN from the Raghu Engineering College, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. While I am joining my 1st year, there are so many places in the college, like 85% of the students get placed in product-based and service-based companies. After a lack in software development, placements are reduced.

Infrastructure: I didn't prefer the hostel; it will have high fees for AC and non-AC. I prefer only rooms. The college provides Wi-Fi. The college has increased the infrastructure of the labs and provided the Wi-Fi facilities, but the quality of the food is not good. While coming to games and sports, there will be less.

Faculty: Also, teachers have to improve their spoken language in English as well as their skills. Teachers support in every aspect, like in club events, every teacher has the best degree in Ph.D., etc. If we perform the best in mid-exams, then they will have a better advantage in semester examinations.

Other: There will be so many students while compared to other colleges.

If you study hard then you will go a good way.

Placements: In the computer science and engineering (Data Science) department, almost 70% of students are placed in on-campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, and CTS Value Labs. Almost 80% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have a Wi-Fi internet facility, useful labs, good classrooms, and a very large library with lots of books. The food served in the canteen will be nice and medicines will be also available. Sports also will be available with good infrastructure.

Faculty: Very well trained and excellent faculty members are available in the college. They are highly qualified faculty members in all the courses. The teaching quality is very good. The students will be made ready for the industries. The training given to students by the faculty will be good.

Other: I like the computer science and engineering (Data Science) department. It is a very nice branch in our college.

Review of Raghu Engineering College.

Placements: They are divided into three sections, each with 70 students. The highest package is 45.5 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies such as Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture recruit from our course, providing top roles. CSE is also in high demand.

Infrastructure: We have a beautiful park and garden where we can spend our leisure time, and there is a separate area for college buses. Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys, with the hostel fee being approximately 70K. The labs are quite okay, classrooms are good, and Wi-Fi is available.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful during lectures and provide you with the best knowledge. You also have a library in case you want to study the subjects further. There are two semesters per year and four midterms per year, two for each semester. For the semester, the pass mark is 28 out of 70, and each midterm carries 30 marks.
