Both PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering) and JSPM (Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal) are well-known engineering institutes in Pune, with distinct strengths. PCCOE is frequently commended for its academic rigour, employment opportunities, and industry links, with many students landing jobs at prominent businesses. It has a good reputation for generating highly qualified engineers, particularly in the computer and mechanical sectors. JSPM, on the other hand, offers a wide range of courses and has various campuses, offering students more options when picking programs. It also has excellent placement prospects and infrastructure. However, PCCOE consistently outperforms in terms of student preference for placements and academic excellence.

{Source: MCA students & alumni}Is JSPM's RSCOE Good for MCA? Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Teaching Faculty:* Some students found the faculty members unhelpful and lacking in knowledge.* However, some students praised the faculty for being good teachers who make complex topics simpler to understand.Placements:* Less than 5% of students got placed from the MCA department.* None of the batchmates reported getting placement and internship opportunities from the college.Infrastructure:* The hostel is considered average, with Wi-Fi and library facilities being poor.* Mess facilities were also rated poorly.Overall Experience:* Students felt that the college does not live up to its reputation, citing poor faculty, placements, and infrastructure.Considering these factors, it seems that JSPM's RSCOE may not be the best option for pursuing MCA. While individual experiences may vary, the majority of feedback suggests that the college falls short in terms of faculty, placements, and infrastructure.
