Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT), Mumbai, is considered a decent option for pursuing engineering education. It is known for its dynamic academic approach, engaging faculty, and well-equipped labs, making learning more interactive and practical for students. However, while RGIT is praised for its infrastructure and the supportive attitude of its professors, it does face certain challenges like limited space, a lack of air conditioning in labs, and inadequate campus facilities. The college's placement statistics are moderate, with packages ranging between 2-6 LPA depending on the stream, with computer engineering students often achieving better outcomes. Companies like TCS and Cognizant frequently participate in the placement drives, though the opportunities are not as extensive compared to Tier 1 institutions. Campus life at RGIT offers opportunities for extracurricular involvement, including sports and cultural festivals like Olympia, enhancing students' overall experience. Despite its strengths, students often feel that facilities like hostels and modernized infrastructure could be improved. Overall, RGIT offers a balanced mix of academics, opportunities, and resources, making it a competitive choice for prospective engineering students.Thank you
