You can get admission in RGIT might be branch is not your choice. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai is a decent college providing 100% placement for computer science and information technology branches but it is not so for mechanical branch.
This is because less than 2 or sometimes no core companies visit the campus during placement season because of which the students have to suffer by taking up IT, banking, marketing jobs which renders the mechanical degree to be a waste.
If you just want to get in the branch because of placements and you have no other option but this college then you can consider getting admission here because even if you fail to perform well in your academics, you are going to end up with a job to support yourself with around 3.5 to 4 lacs, which is also the average placement package that is offered to the students in the college.
If you still want to remain in the core industry then you need to do your Master from a reputable college in India or abroad.

The 2019 cutoff depends on the score percentage, like if all are getting high scores than the cutoff could be high. You can search online and get last year's cutoff and assume.
