Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. There is no age limit for the candidates. Candidate with below mentioned eligibility are also eligible: Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA. SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration. 2021 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE). REC Ambedkar Nagar at a glance.

Placements: Placements here are below average, to be very honest. Most of the students are not placed at all in our branch, which is the electrical engineering branch. The placement cell is there in college, but it is not very active; there are some students who get placed off - campus.

Infrastructure: Hostels are plus points here; there are separate hostels for each year, one for girls , one for lateral entry students and the third year has two hostels . All hostels are 3 - seater except for the hostel for final-year boys, which is the Atal boys hostel.

Faculty: Faculty here is decent . They are of a supportive nature and helpful towards students . The course curriculum used is given by AKTU University, which is quite old. Semester exams are also conducted by AKTU University itself, which are not too difficult.

Other: This course is totally value for money. I mean, tuition fees here are 40,000, where else you can do B.tech in this price range.

Placements: Rajkiya Engineering College Ambedkar Nagar (REC ABN) is a government. Aided college of state government. Affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University Lucknow. The college conduct Bachelor of technology programme in three branches 1. Electrical Engineering (E. ), 2. Information Technology (I. T. ), Civil Engineering (C. E. ) The highest package of all branches of our college is 10 to 12 LPA and average package is 3 to 5 LPA. There are so many companies comes in my college like wipro, tcs, byjus, exotic, bigoh, fexle etc. Sixtry percent of all students got scholarship from this college. Basically electrical engineering branch is the best branch of this college. And 7 hostels are there and one in under construction.

Infrastructure: This college have well infrastructure and hostel also very well maintained with Wi-Fi facility available, Library also have in campus, gymnasium facility for all students are available, playground for playing outdoor games are well maintained, smart classrooms etc. Facilities are available in this college .

Faculty: All facilities of all department of this college are very helpful to students of all branches specially the faculty and head of electrical branch are very kind hearted to all peoples (students) and all faculty members of this college are well qualified from IIT's and NIT's.

Other: I'm choosing electrical engineering and offcourse the faculty or teachers of this department are very great in teach. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity from remote location, campus surroundings very large, scholarship, extracurricular activities etc. Are also good.

Honest review of Rajkiya Engineering College, Ambedkarnagar.

Placements: The placement of my college are not good. On campus, no company visit my college. IT & EE students applied for off-campus and got placement. The average package is 3.5 Lacs, and the highest package is 10 Lacs this year. Civil has no placement; they prep for GATE and other gov exams.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average in my college. Almost all basic things are available, like gym, library, and student activity centre. The maintenance system is very bad; few things are broken and damaged, but they are not repaired. Wi-Fi is available in all buildings with average internet speed.

Faculty: Faculty are good. All faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. Mostly, faculty members are Ph.D. holders. This course curriculum is not relevant for this generation; it does not make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not that difficult; students can easily pass.

Other: I chose this college because of government and low fee. The best thing about this college is very low fee, approximately 1 Lakh per year. There are 2-3 big events in my college campus. The crowd is low because of limited seats in the gov college.

Our college is very good for engineering.

Placements: Students who take admission in our college work very hard to get placed in various companies like Tata and TCS. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA for CSE students, and the students of other branches focus on core companies.

Infrastructure: Our college tries to focus on its students. The infrastructure is not very well developed, and the work is in progress since five years. All the facilities are provided, like various labs for various subjects and a big library that attract students. Wi-Fi facility is available. Hostels are provided for both boys and girls with good facilities. Food quality is very good, like in restaurants.

Faculty: Semester exams are not very easy to pass. Students who study can pass them. Faculty members are knowledgeable and try to give all the information to students which helps them in semester exams and competitive exams.

Overall, in my opinion, you can opt for this college.

Placements: Placement is very hard for students in our college; the percentage rate of getting placed is almost about 30% in the IT branch, whereas in other branches it is quite low or almost nothing, honestly. (3.4 LPA to 9 LPA). Companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., visit, but none get internships here; you have to find one yourself from anywhere.

Infrastructure: Campus: Not a very large campus, but being a state government college, it is the best. Wi-Fi is available; labs are not as good as top colleges, but sufficient labs are available. Mess facilities are available in every hostel, and there are sports and other councils where you can explore. Medical facility: Around 500 m near to Government City Hospital.

Faculty: In our Electrical Engineering branch, the faculty are very experienced; most have done their PhDs from top colleges in India. Projects: Faculty will always help you with your projects if you are dedicated. Lecture and attendance: As this college is affiliated with AKTU University, 75% attendance is mandatory. Semester examination: You have to score at least 40 percent overall in a single subject; 30 percent marks will have to be scored in external examinations in each subject.

Other: Fests: Kshitiz and Abhigna. Extracurricular activities: Table tennis, chess, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. Scholarship: UP Government Scholarship Scheme refunds almost full fees of college and hostel.
