Absolutely dissatisfied with the college management.

Placements: No students got placed in the batch of 2016. They made an arrangements for few BPO companies which have visited the college. Management charges some amount for placement cell which doesn't even exit in the campus. Some of my seniors got placed and in my batch as well attending job fairs which was conducted by the companies!

The college is good, but it should be improved.

Placements: Above 60% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,500 per month. A top company visited our campus for placements is Amazon. I don't know about the roles offered to the students. The salary package offered can vary depending on the type of job. The percentage may be not accurate, but most of the students got an internship.

My honest opinion on RVS College.

Placements: Above 60% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, and the lowest salary is Rs. 12,500 per month. Amazon was a top company that visited our campus for placements. I don’t know the specific roles offered to the students. The salary package can vary depending on the type of job. The percentage may not be accurate, but most students got an internship.

The college is good in placements and atmosphere of our college is good to learn and grow.

Placements: Around 45% of the students from our course get placed. Because of backlogs, some students are not able to get placed. The salary package offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 45,000 per month. Aspire System's, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Especially software developer and trainee position are offered to students. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. We get 40% of internships from the companies.

The college is not very good comparing to other colleges.

Placements: A lot of companies come here, but the salary they give is too low, the HOD of the mechanical department does his best to help the students to score marks and have good placements, at least half of the students gets placed and some even get placed even without good marks because of their hardwork.

RVS College of Engineering and Technology is the best college.

Placements: RVS College of Engineering and Technology is one of the more reputed colleges in Coimbatore. This college provides 100 percent placement results every year, and a greater number of students receive high salary packages. The average salary package ranges from 2.5-8 LPA. The college conducts a higher number of campus interviews every year.

Good industrial exposure but infrastructure needs to be improved.

Placements: Placement cell in my college was very active. However, as far as mechanical dept. is concerned, off campus was given more importance than the on campus drives. (scenario seen in mechanical dept. of most colleges). We were updated with recruitment activities of prominent establishments such as SPIC, TAFE, etc. Don't know about other department activities. Overall, IT related job offers dominated the campus drives.

Good and excellent experience in the college life.

Placements: The college is providing better placements and it has the better record for the amount of placed students. Many multi national companies are ready to pick up students from here. Infosys, just dial, Amazon, etc. Are the main companies seeking for the students from here.

Totally dissatisfied due to faculty, management and facilities.

Placements: This college provides placements and students need to pay placement fees yearly, except for the final years. Final year students have an option of where to opt for placements or not. Mostly IT companies were hiring students from RVS. The mechanical students here have to find jobs on their own after their studies. I think most of the placed students don't get any response from the company side, after the course. The placement cell here does not take care this issues. They just need only a passpor...

My college is good. I prefer students can join my college.

Placements: Placements are conducted for my batch. 30% of the students were selected. They offered Rs. 11,000 per annum to Rs. 15,000 per annum. 4W Technologies, HCL and Wipro companies visited the campus. The companies provide 500 posts to the students and give good salary package. The students having above 65% of marks got the internship from the college. The stipend offered was Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6,000. It is useful to us.

The college is neither the best nor the worst.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not the best. But some native companies visit the college. Neither our seniors nor our batch students didn't get the great placements. But we are expecting the better companies in the final semester. Only 50% of the students are getting the proper placements. The companies like Amazon and HCL are visiting for the placements. But none of the students are selected. The highest offered salary is 21 LPA, but none of the students got selected. The average salary offer...

A college with a lot of facilities but it is of no use. It is not utilised by the management. Fees is the main thing college is focusing on. Poor faculty. Simply taking placement fees but there are no placements at all. Campus is big but infrastructure is poor. Overall, a high publicity cinema like college but no quality in education and for our future. They should improve many things instead of coming up with some unnecessary rules which has no sense.

RVS College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore is one of the best colleges in my town. College has many branches in all over India. I've studied Diploma, Engineering and Master Degree in this institution. Best place to gain knowledge. For engineering there are two institutions in Tamil Nadu. One is located in Din Digul and another one in Coimbatore. Faculties are up to the mark and placements are also great.

Our college life is a colorful one. We have good friends and places.

Placements: In our college, from the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many top companies such as Tata, TCS, Wipro, Byju's, and many other IT companies visit the campus. Many students were offered salary package of more than 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement was around 10% to 20%. On the other hand, the college claimed almost 100%. My plan after getting a degree was to ...

Placements: 1. I remember about only 40% of students were selected in placement in my department. 2. The highest package offered is 3LPA ; the lowest 1LPA. 3. HCL, Infosys, Eureka, Accenture was offered. 4. Testing, Developer roles were offered. 5. About 25% of students got internship from Accenture.
