Muzaffarnagar, The worst engineering college.

Placements: There is no placement in this college. Don't take admission; no company will come to the college because their market value is too low. This college doesn't have the facilities of labs and other necessary resources. They have educated faculty members, but they lack knowledge.

Our college provides good placements and I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Almost 80-90% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, Google, Godrej, etc.

It is a good college in our area.

Placements: Our College has a placement rate of 73%, with the highest salary package offered at 23 LPA and the minimum at 3.2 lacs per annum. Salaries depend on the skills of the students, and top companies include DRMA, CK, PWC, and more.

The college has good faculty members and decent placements.

Placements: Placements are decent in our college. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Q-spider came to our campus, and they provided the salary package of up to 7 LPA. Students get help from the college regarding placements, and nearly all academically average and above-average students end up having a job after the completion of their degree.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I'm a 2nd-year student pursuing B.Teach from S.D. College of Engineering and Technology in the IT branch. Many more students are pursuing their B.Teach from the IT branch. The highest package offered in my course is around 6 Lacs. The lowest package offered in my course is around 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Infosys, and many more.

It is a good college for students who want to do UG living nearby college.

Placements: Placements provided in our course are average. Most of the students have applied for off-campus recruitment. Companies are mostly startups or average. Our college does not provide internships in our course. Students have to be self-dependent and built their understanding of the course. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA in recruitment.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the facilities provided in the college and teachers also.

Placements: Placements are not provided here, and students get placed in any company on their own but not from college. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 20,000 to 8,000 per month and the average salary offered will be Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are Spyder, Evelyn, Fizer, Infosys, Wipro and TCS. The top role offered in our course is a trainee engineer. The highest salary package offered in our course is 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 90,000 per annum....

It is an average engineering college.

Placements: Placements in our college are normal. Students should find placements on their own, don't depend upon the college placements. Only 2 or 3 companies visit the campus for placements and only for CS and IT branches. Students were not eligible as per the criteria.

The infrastructure in this college is good, and the rest is bad.

Placements: As far as placements were concerned, there were very fewer chances of placements. Hardly one company visits for campus recruitment. Students have to go for off-campus recruitments by tracking through jobs portals and some other sources. The management also provides information for pool campus recruitments.

The college with a hygienic infrastructure.

Placements: Placements at this college are below average not because of college. It is due to the students lacking knowledge in their field. Several companies like Tech Mahindra, QSpider, and MCN solutions, etc., visit the campus but only a few students could make it to the company. Most of the students are interested in programming while others prefer backend jobs. The package offered to students vary between 2.5-3.5 LPA.

I had both good and bad experiences here.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, no campus placement drives are organised here. However, some students get placed through off-campus drives. Several companies visit the college, but any student grabs the job very rarely. I hope the scenario will change this year as I'm in the final year and really looking for a good job opportunity.

I am moderately satisfied with this college.

Placements: Companies like Tech Mahindra and Justdial visit the college, every year, and the placements are not effective. The placements of our college are poor, and they failed to provide good placement opportunities. The placements of our college need to be improved.

The college is good in every aspect.

Placements: The placement in the college is very good. Many big companies visited here like HCL, Accenture, Genpact, VM software, Oracle etc. These companies provide training first and then get the jobs. Many students get placed at a time, and these companies provide good packages.

Best college in Muzaffarnagar area till date. Placement of CS,IT is good but needs work on ME/CE.

Placements: SDCET needs some attention in placements. Placement of CS/IT is around 100% but they can't call any mechanical/civil company. That's why the students of mechanical engineering and civil engineering can't get placed from college. Even EC students get placed from college but those of mechanical/civil don't get placed. For CS/ IT, reputed organizations like Wipro, HCL, Accenture, etc come and recruit the students but for mechanical/civil, no company visited.

Placement is negligible and faculty is just okay. Location is not good. If somebody is from U.P West and looking for college with lesser fees then only join SDCET. Others need to join colleges in Noida or Meerut. Most of the colleges of UPTU are playing with students' career and making money so be very careful while opting college because life after graduation is going to be troublesome if you have not good academic background in your graduation.

Worst college with poor faculty members and facilities. Labs never open for students. If someone want to participate in any competition then faculty members will never guide you and college would never help you in anything but if you achieve good place or win in the competition then they behave as if they were with you at every step that was taken by you. All credit goes to teachers.

Best for geeting degree and knowledge not good for placement.

Placements: This is a local area college so there is not that much good placement here only a few of the students got placement here. Staff says, that the highest package of this college is 1 lacs per annum. But we are not sure about it. Most CS students got placement here.

Review of S. D. College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements are good for IT and CSE branch students, but for other courses, they are nill. It is not a good college in terms of placements. You have to depend on other sources for placements like private agencies and other such systems. I will give a very low rating for placements.
