General Description of St. Johns College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET, Kurnool) Commonly termed as a good college with the following desirable traits: Strengths: Infrastructure- The college has all the nice facilities and infrastructure. Library and sports facilities along with labs are available on the campus. Faculty- Faculty here are experienced and knowledgeable in imparting good education to students. Placement record- A healthy placement record is found as the students are getting placed in good companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture.Environment: The campus of the College is located in a peaceful environment, well-suiting the learning process. Scope for Improvement:Placement: Although the placement record itself has been fair, there could have been better outings in terms of numbers and average pay package.The industry visit and the workshops also must be held more frequently as then only the students are going to receive practical exposure.SJCET, Kurnool, strictly being a good option for pursuing engineering education, especially if one seeks a peaceful environment for studies and quality education. The conditions mentioned above are not applicable if interests or career goals are different.
