Best College in Every Aspect in Siliguri.
Placements: 40% of the students got placements in MNCs, with a few securing positions at TCS, PwC, Wipro, and others. The placement facility is new to the Salesian environment and has proven very helpful for students, as it provides job opportunities within the campus, eliminating the need for post-graduation job searches.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very clean and hygienic, featuring modular, air-conditioned classrooms with LED projectors for enhanced understanding of concepts. The campus is spacious, and the view of the hills from the college premises is stunning.
Faculty: During my time, the course curriculum and examination structure followed the guidelines of the University of North Bengal, and the syllabus was thoroughly covered before exams. CIA tests were conducted monthly to assess progress in each subject.
Other: I was from a commerce background in school and always wanted to continue this field of study. Salesian College was the best place for this course.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: Placement is poor as there is no placement provided by the college. Though the teachers in the college provides the name of the companies in which the student can apply for interviews. But overall the facilities are good. The college provides internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is always a learning and developing environment for a student. The classrooms are spacious and has a screen for digital learning, well- equipped computer labs, games room, sick room, conference room, AV room, canteen, etc.
Faculty: Faculty is the most important and it is there in the college as the teachers are good they are well qualified, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The teachers help their students in both curricular and extracurricular activities and also managing and organising college events.

Great Infrastructure teachers and events. No placements
.
Placements: There is No organised placement cell as such. Majority of the people don't find jobs through the College. Yes, Few may get Internships from Teachers and their Network. It's a good place to learn and explore, but apart from it. The placement is something that had to be worked on by the College immediately.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is Good! Their were a lot of Canteens, Classes were organised, Labs and Libraries were organised and sophisticated. There is a big playground to play on and a lot of area to sit and discuss. There's enough Greenery and Many good plants!
Faculty: Yes, The teachers were good in this college comparatively to the other ones in Siliguri. The course Curriculum was also relevant but there is a need of a check on syllabus as it's very old now. The difficult level range in between 70-80 percentage.
Other: I chose this course to pursue finance in my career. The best thing about this course is that it will provide a basic to finance but apart from this course there's a lot to be done additional. More of practical application can help the course get better! The Events, fest, Campus Crowd, etc. Are Good.

Not such good faculty members and no placements available.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college but it is of no use as no placements are provided. Internship was done by the students themselves as the college did not provide any internship facilities. Companies did visit the college like revsona, youth India.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities in the college are good. There is lab in the college but some of the computers in the computer lab does not work properly. Library, medical facilities, sports and games room, separate boy and girls rooms are also available. Classrooms are well furnished.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are knowledgeable and helpful but the teaching facilities are not good. Teachers do not teach properly. Face to face communication is there as well as digital facilities is there. Industry exposure is provided by the college.
Other: There are various co-curricular activities held in the college, both intra and inter college competition are held.

To sum up all the things i would say the college is one of the best for studying.
Placements: I have opted for Bcom honours course. The student opting for this course was 30 in my class. The college offers a good package for students. The highest package of previous years was of around 30 lakhs per annum and lowest package of 8 lakhs per annum. The average package of our college was around 12 lakhs per annum.
The top recruiting companies for our course is Amazon, wipro, reliance etc.
Almost every student of our course got intership in private firms and companies like amazon boat etc.
Infrastructure: The college offers a good environment for students to study in. All the classrooms are air conditioned. The college library and labs are well maintained and always up to date to use. The professors in the college are quite helpful.
The hostel facilities of the college are awesome. The rooms are clean and well maintained. They provide air conditioned rooms with attached toilets. The hostel has wifi facilities and helds various sports competition for the students to know each other better.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are well qualified and knowledgeable. The college hires its faculty studied from top Colleges like Christ University, Delhi University and so on.
The teachers are very helpful and present to help the students in each and every step where needed.
As Salesian College is a autonomous college it can decide its own syllabus. The syllabus is well designed for the students to get industry ready.
The semester are difficult and test a students capabilities. The exams have a fifty percent passing percentage.
Other: I have a interest in accounting and commerce so i made a decision to pursue bcom for my further studies. The best thing about my course is that it is quite interesting to learn how the business world works.
The things that i would like to improve about my course is that, i would like it to be more practical then bookish knowledge for the students.
The college conducts various fests and recreational activities. It also provides excursion trips for students and various sports competition.
