Mumbai's Sardar Patel College of Engineering is traditionally looked at as one of the top institutions, where students can pursue an excellent education in various subjects such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering. SPCE has a close affiliation with the University of Mumbai and possesses a good academic reputation focusing on the preparation of students in line with industry norms. A quite modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs and libraries, and experienced, supportive faculty often involved in research and industry practice.SPCE has a very active placement cell, and students get placed in top companies like TCS, Godrej, and Mahindra. The average median salary is about Rs. 4-6 LPA for most students. The same goes for hostel facilities-camping facilities during these years. The reviews, however, differ as in any college, and some students have said there should be better tie-ups with some companies for placements.

The average package for M.Tech graduates is around INR 5 lakh, with recruitment drives from reputed companies. Although placement opportunities are good, it requires a lot of efforts from the students to get placed.
