 The total tuition fee for the BTech programme at NIT Surat is INR 5 lakh. However, the university does understand that the cost of education can be a burden for some students and their families. Therefore, they offer scholarships to deserving students to help them with the financial aspect of their education. These scholarships are based on various criteria such as academic performance, financial need, and community service. Some scholarships are also available for students belonging to certain categories such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

As authorised by the relevant agencies/governments, the institute has put in place a number of scholarships and financial aid programmes for the students, including national merit scholarships, merit scholarships, post-merit scholarships, merit-cum-means scholarships, scholarships for OBC students, and scholarships for physically handicapped students.
