Absolutely dissatisfied, but the faculty members are very good and helpful.

Placements: Not many students got placed in companies, but some students were placed. The highest package offered is 6 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 1 Lac per annum. The top recruiting company is TCS. There are many students who got internships in different companies and also in startups. Top roles offered were software engineer, system architecture etc.

I am not satisfied with the subjects and curriculum.

Placements: Around 50% of students are going for higher abroad studies, I am willing to get placed by campus placements. Our college has decent placements cells that support students by taking the mock test for interviews, coding, GDs. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA.

SVIT is one of the best colleges in GTU, and it is ranked 5th.

Placements: From the 5th semester, students are eligible for placements. Many big companies like TCS, BYJU's, L&T, etc., came here. The package depends on the department. Approximately 70% of students got placed. I am currently in 2nd year, but I got to know this from our seniors.

I am dissatisfied because they are not providing hostel facilities.

Placements: Computer science and information technology students get hired mostly from our college. Tata consultancy services and Wipro hire most of the computer science and information technology students. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA.

It is a place where we learn how to do fun and enjoy every moment of our life with full joy.

Placements: The placement period is from the 6th to the 8th semester. The average salary package offered is 4.50 LPA. For most of our placement, we have to do an internship outside the college, and it will be mainly a paid internship, but if the company is good, then we must have to do it.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college environment.

Placements: Almost 50-60% is the usual percentage of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Jeavio, Collabera, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Software engineer, graphic designer, back end developer, etc., were the top roles offered to students. Almost 10% of the students may get an internship, but very few companies provided on-campus internships.

Value creation in non core segment in SVIT.

Placements: Around 20% students were placed in our batch. Mostly in Line, TCS, ERDA, Cognizant & other local organizations around the town. Students who were flexible enough to work in IT/non core Electrical Engineering domain, had a better opportunities since many IT firms came & many students from non IT branches were selected.

A great college life with good infrastructure but poor placement facilities.

Placements: Unfortunately very few companies came for placement this year (in 2018) but in previous year many students got placed in very good companies. For core field jobs average package is 2-3 lac per annum and for management jobs average salary rises up to 8 to 9 lac. Companies like Alembic pvt ltd, byju's and TCS etc. For other branches specially computer and it (information & technology ) placements are good but for instrumentation & control and electrical department does not have placement. The campus life is great, but placements and industry exposure to students are poor.

Placements: In 2018, unfortunately, only a few renowned companies visited the campus for placements, and most of my seniors got placed in a good number. For core jobs, the average package offered was 3-4 LPA, and for management jobs, the average salary rises to 9 LPA. Companies like Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Byju's, TCS, etc., visited our campus for placements. For other branches, especially computer science engineering, placements are good, but for instrumentation and control engineering, you don't get a lo...

SVIT, Vasad is my dream college.

Placements: Placements are good enough. Many companies like L&T, Line, TCS, etc., visit our college to recruit the students. So in terms of placements, it is a good college to take admission. Many MNCs visit the college for good students.

It is good, but there are some internal issues.

Placements: In SVIT, they provide good enough placements for software engineering and low for hardware engineering. Almost more than half of the students got software jobs as per college booklet and suggestions. The highest packages is 10 LPA, and 3 students got it.

Completely satisfied with the placements and faculty, but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately, 70-80 students were placed from our college in multi-national companies, but the negative aspect is that many students wanted to go abroad after their graduation, so they did not appear in campus placement. Beyond it, everything is alright in our college, and it is a well-reputed college as well.

Good college for study but poor placement facility.

Placements: This year there only one student placement in campus. So placement of mechanical department is very low. Only one campus placement has been done. Only IT and computer department have placement campus. Before this year there are few company are coming for placement but this year only one core company is recruiter mechanical engineer. The highest salery offer are 9 Lacs per annum.

B.E. In mechanical engineering.

Placements: In Svit college, a placement facility has been very bad for the past two years. When we joined the college, good placement was done. After watching the placements, we took the admission in this college, but in the present year, there are no placements. And some companies are visiting, but they are not our field. And this year, only 5 to 7% placements have been done. This is a sad thing for a mechanical department.

In Svit, Different events and activities like Prakarsh, vision, Sarjan, and annual function etc.

Placements: Placement activity was low for current batch, and senior students got more opportunities than current batch. Now, Only 4-5 % students are placed in placement with only 2 to 2.5lakh package. And placement activities are goes down year to year. Work on placement activity is soo poor.

The college is average, think twice before investing more than 3 lacs.

Placements: The placement at my time, i.e., 2015, two years were good, but today the quality of placement has deteriorated (as my cousin also studies in the same college and I also stay connected with the alumni cell of my college). Today, only local companies will visit the college, and that too will select a handful of students.

Quite okay placements and bad infrastructure.

Placements: One good part of the college is about placements. All the concerned team is quite focused on placement activity. Compared to other departments, the computer engineering department always has a higher count of placements accomplished. Somewhat satisfied with placements. Salary, mostly ranging from 15,000-30,000. 50-60% students got placed.

Gives the quality education to the students.

Placements: There are 4 to 5 companies come to every year and recruitment is done based on their requirements. The package should be starting from 2.5 to 6 lacks per annum as an average. The companies such as TCS, FLY DOOCS are visiting the college such as 40 to 50% of placement should be done on the college campus.

An above average college. Dissatisfying faculty, good placements, and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements-Good opportunities for a job. 40% students of the total students in the college are placed. Companies like TCS, Linde, Tech Mahindra, IBM, L&T Tech Services, IRIS, Collabera, L&T, etc. are invited for placements. The average packages offered are 2.5-3 lacs per annum. Internships- The college does not provide internships, students have to find internships on their own though they provide little help by providing a list of the companies. The stipend is given depending upon the type of ...
