While filling out the application form, candidates can choose multiple BCom specialisations available at Saveetha University. However, after the release of the merit list candidates can join only one programme according to the eligibility criteria they're qualifying. Before applying for BCom courses candidates must note that they can pursue only one undergraduate programme at a time. However, Saveetha University provides free foreign language courses through language labs and certification programmes from respective departments, which students can apply to simultaneously with their degree. Moreover, for pursuing language courses candidates are required to qualify for certain eligibility criteria that state Class 12 is mandatory for admission with a minimum of 60% aggregate. All class instructions will be in English medium only.

Additionally, candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM/ PCB stream. Saveetha University BPharm admissions are based on merit evaluated on the candidates' last qualifying examination, and SU Chennai also accepts the scores of its entrance exam to assess candidates' aptitude and knowledge.

The eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website of Saveetha University states that for admission to BCom courses, candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum of 50% scores and the admission decision is made on the basis of merit that is released after analysing the Class 12 results of students. The university's official website does not mention the acceptance of CUET scores for admission to BCom. However, for admission to several UG courses, SIMAT conducts its in-house entrance test i.e., Saveetha University Common Entrance Test (SUCET). But, to know if SUCET scores are applicable for admission to BCom, candidates must reach out to the university's admission department. On the official website the university there is, names, email addresses, and contact numbers of the admission department at Saveetha University are available.

The university offers several specialisations in BTech and in Bachelors in Engineering courses, such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Biomedical, Dental Technology, Energy & Environment Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile, etc. Additionally, Saveetha University also offers BTech lateral admission, for which candidates must have completed Diploma course or equivalent from a recognised institute or university.
