Hi Prince,
First, I'd ask you a question. Why not 3 year LLB?
For the purposes of elaboration, I've mentioned the basic differentiation between the two.

Hi Prince,
First, I'd ask you a question. Why not 3 year LLB?
For the purposes of elaboration, I've mentioned the basic differentiation between the two.
Five year LLB is an integrated course where the students do not have to undergo graduation twice, i.e. 3 years of graduation in any stream and then again 3 years of law; but here they will receive a consolidated BA LLB degree upon finishing the course in a period of 5 years. Earlier, the Bar Council of India (BCI) had an age limit of 20 years to pursue five year LLB course, but after facing criticism from the Supreme Court, the age limit was increased to 22 years. While, A three year course is pursued after possessing any graduation degree and it is imperative that the student has pursued graduation in any discipline and then shall be eligible for a three year course in law. Earlier, the age limit set by the Bar Council of India (BCI) was 30 years, but after facing criticism from the Apex court, BCI decided to increase the age limit from 30 years to 45 years for 3 year law courses. There are people who decide to pursue Engineering or BCom or BA or any other course for that matter, and later decide that they want to pursue Law as a career option, but have crossed the age of 22. Such candidates can enrol in this course. Further, read my article on this topic for better understanding at:

Hi,
There are many career opportunities after completing the MA in English Literature. You can opt for a career as per your interests. For example, if you have interest in writing then you can become a content writer, proofreader or editor in any organization. You can also join various media jobs like a journalist.
If you have an interest in teaching & lectureship, you can attempt for UGC NET exam. NET qualified candidates can apply for a direct Assistant Professor post in any of the top universities of India (Government & Private both) and can get a lucrative salary. Before applying, you should check UGC guidelines for NET exam here- https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-regulations-and-guidelines-for-professors-and-jrf
Moreover, nowadays some PSU's also recruit NET qualified candidates for various posts.
The good thing is that UGC NET exam conducted twice a year and there is no limitation on the number of attempts so you can prepare well. To know full details of this exam, check here- https://www.shiksha.com/exams/ugc-net
