Hi. The Micro Presentation includes very general and simple topics like Swach Bharat Campaign, The Cricket World Cup, The Young Indian etc. These topics change every year. There would be about 75 topics and the list for the same will be uploaded on the website. You need to prepare a 3min presentation for each of these topics to be on the safe side. The topic that you need to present on, will be chosen and evaluated during the GD process. You also will be give 2mins to prepare before the presentation.
For the GD round, please be aware of the current market trends. It is possible for them to give out of the blue topics. In worst case scenario, if you are not aware of the topic, please don't hesitate to ask them about the topic and clarify your doubts before the GD begins. During the GD make sure your voice is heard, points are valid and relevant to the topic. At least 3 to 4 points should be made. You will get an added advantage if you start off with the introduction or finish with a conclusion, which shows that you are a person who can take initiatives. For the PI, the most important factor is your confidence level. The interviewer will try their best to stress you out. All you need to do is stay calm and confident with what you say and how you present yourself. Even if you take time to answer their questions, it doesn't matter, but give them sensible and reasonable answers.

Hostel seats inside the campus are limited in number. As there would be other course students too joining the hostel, seats get filled very soon. You can deposit fee and avail hostel facility whenever you would like to. But its better you do it before March, where the second session of admitted students would also be booking their hostel and there will be none left once their admissions too get over. As you delay, there might not be seats available for the type of sharing you would like to choose (double, triple sharing).

The whole vision of Christ is aimed at holistic education. It gives you opportunities to develop your knowledge not just academically, but also in different and new streams. The knowledge transfer here is more on the practical level, where they prepare you for a full-fledged corporate life. Yes of course, when it comes to practicality, subject knowledge is important but your interpersonal skills binding with your knowledge and knowing how to use them is the secret to your success. Now, to develop these interpersonal skills Christ arranges different platforms like cultural events, sports, art events, theater, management fest, corporate interfaces, club activities etc. where you can develop skills like, event management, team work, leadership, it helps you bring out your hidden talents, patience, confidence, it will also make you a dynamic person. Yes, Christ lets you achieve all this is by making these events compulsory for everyone to participate, which in a way is good because sometimes all we need is a small push to the next step in life. Trust me, by being in this system, you will learn new things about yourself, but of course you should have the interest to learn more and have an open mind.
Coming to the academics, it's mostly based on practical knowledge. It is a mix of all like book based, assignment based, self-study based, research work, industry interactions etc. The syllabus is set according to the new trends in the industry and keeps on updating. The teachers are also well aware, trained and very knowledgeable about the new markets and also encourages you to equip yourself with the required skills. With respect to the placement, more than 100 companies come for placements across specializations and every year about 95-98% students get placed. The eligibility criteria for each company is different. The average package is 6.5L and the highest goes to about 12L to 14L.
