No, you don't have to give the entrance exam as there are some local colleges providing admission without any entrance exam.
5 years ago If I have backs in 2 subjects in 2nd PUC exam and cleared it in supplementary exam, can I get a set in this college for BHM?

There is a very less chance of getting NIT, because you have just cleared your cutoff OBC, but your aggregate class 12% is less than 75, so there are less chances.
