This college has research oriented curriculum.
Placements: Students are yet to pass out so no one is placed as of now. The top recruiting companies like Adani, Jindal and Aarti chemicals visit our college for the placements. Even Honeywell and Technip also came. I would like to rate it 4 stars, because the number of core companies is less than the number of software companies. In this batch, all students get internships. This college has MOU with Aditya Birla and they selected 2 students. So, everything is good.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi does not work properly in every place. Even in library college Wi-Fi do not work. Laboratories are fine and well-equipped. Classrooms are clean and every class has projector and white screen. Library is well-equipped with many books. Canteen food is good. Medical facilities are provided 24X7. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel facilities and I do no play any sports.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Faculty members are very supportive and they listen to students' doubts and clear them. The best thing is that there is no discrimination among them. All the faculty members have Ph.D. in their respective subjects so they teach excellent. The course curriculum is very good as it is research-oriented. Semester exams are easy and everyone passed in our batch.

Knowledgeable teachers, good methodology of teaching, average placements in 2016.
Placements: None of the students got placed through the campus. Only 1 company came for the placements. (Technip FMC). 90% of students bagged internship from the college in the 2nd year, since last year of the course was dedicated to industry internship which was compulsory for all the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and overall infrastructure of the labs, classrooms was pretty good. The food quality in the mess and the hostels was good. The hostels were clean and well kept. The sports facilities were good enough, offering a range of sports and games. However the medical facilities were okay and can be improved, since there are not much options available outside the campus due to the isolated location of the campus.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and the teaching methodology was such that would engage the students thoroughly. The ways of teaching adopted were interesting and the evaluation criteria for certain courses involving open book examinations challenged the students to make real effort to understand and learn their course, not just simply memorize and appear for exams. The faculty and the teachers were approachable at all times for the students, being a batch of just over 20 students. The 2nd year of the course offered industrial internship to almost all the students (90%) helping students in giving a wide exposure to the industrial problems and helps in applying their knowledge and learning from the course to solve real life industrial problems, which is I would say a very big plus point for this course.
Other: Having graduated in chemical engineering, I wanted to enhance my knowledge in this field and get into the research field eventually later on in life, which is what inspired me to pursue my Masters further. The university is well known for its placements for Bachelors courses in petroleum (upstream, downstream) and chemical engineering courses. The campus infrastructure, canteen, library is well maintained, offering almost everything a student would require to comfortably spend their time in the campus while their course lasts. Located in a beautiful valley of Uttarakhand, the campus location is beautiful and refreshing. Overall it was a wonderful experience for me.

Huge fee pay but no placements.
Placements: The course offers one year of campus academic education and one year of internship in industries. We were about 18 students out of which 17 got their internships in companies like aditya birla, siminfo systems, BPCL etc. None of the students were placed. None of the companies visited campus for M.Tech students.
Infrastructure: Campus hostel has all the necessary facilities such as Wi-Fi, laundry service, entertainment area, indoor games, medical room. Clean and tidy rooms which gets cleaning service by staff once a day. Campus hostel mess provides delicious food with a daily change of menu including both veg and non veg.
Faculty: Teachers for our course were average. People who are highly qualified were not so helpful towards the average grade students and some of the teachers were habitual of being late to class. Politics and regional feelings can be felt in department. No cultural activities participation from department side.
Other: I chose this course out of my interest but deeply regret it due to the university and staff.

The image is now to just make money, that's it.
Placements: The placements are good. Good companies visit the campus, but the placement office people are not that much cooperative. The package that company offers is less compared to IITs and NITs. The placement cell people are partial for some branches as in some branch people have got double placement as well, but in other branches, opportunity is not given.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is always into renovation and new block construction. The ambience and the view of the college are what attracts the people's attention. The Wi-Fi works well only at certain places on the campus. Despite takes such huge money, the library facility is not up to the mark.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very good, but most of the teachers here are not able to explain and teach properly. The practise of teaching subject just by reading the presentation is very common. Most of them are least bothered to explain the concept and are very partial.
Other: Events are the worst and the biggest disappointment of the students as after giving so much money as fees, the college does not invest in bringing a popular personality to the college fest.

Other: It is such a nice college, I studied here and got placed. Weather and location both are good. One more thing I would like to tell you is that faculty members are also good. They give proper guidance so we can achieve our goal in life. A number of factors contribute to making the decision on your dream school. No matter how obscure your interests are, their goal is to make sure they’re accounted for. From great weather to inspiring professors, they have the information to narrow down your list in ways you may have never considered. They are dedicated to enabling aspiring students to make informed decisions on their path to academic success. It helps students to recognize their individual needs, and provide them with the information they require to match themselves with an institution that will polish their skills and help them grow as professionals.
