Getting admission in SMS may be moderately competitive because different programs have varying competitive ratios. For undergraduate courses, candidates must have minimum aggregate marks of 50% in their 12th standard exams. Admission for such courses is given via entrance exams, like the SMS Online Test for BBA and BCA and JEE Main for B.Tech.Post graduate MBA programs require students to pass entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, or CMAT and later have an interview. The cutoff is also usually in the range of 55% to 65% for most institutes based on entrance exams. Overall, it is very structured, but still has to qualify based on criteria and perform well in the entrance exam to get selected.
