Getting placed after completing a BA from DU SOL (School of Open Learning, University of Delhi) is possible, but it often depends on your own efforts beyond the regular course structure. DU SOL provides flexibility in its curriculum, which allows students to take up internships, part-time work, or skill-building courses alongside their studies. This is a big advantage for students who are proactive about enhancing their resumes.DU SOL's placement cell conducts job fairs and collaborates with companies like Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and Bajaj Capital. While the highest packages reported have gone up to ?15 LPA for exceptional candidates, the average salary ranges between ?2.5–3.6 LPA. However, it's important to note that direct placement opportunities might not be as extensive as those in full-time colleges like SRCC or Hansraj. To increase your chances of landing a good job, consider taking additional certification courses in areas like digital marketing, data analytics, or language proficiency. Networking through platforms like LinkedIn or connecting with DU alumni can also open up more opportunities. Participating in workshops or training programs organized by DU SOL can further sharpen your skills and confidence. If you're aiming for higher studies or government exams, the flexibility of DU SOL's programme is a major advantage. It allows you to focus on preparations for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, or CAT without the pressure of a rigid academic schedule. While DU SOL might not offer the same campus life or infrastructure as full-time programs, it provides an affordable and flexible route to higher education. You can pursue business law after graduation with a B.Com of 35% from Sol DU. This would depend on the specific course and university requirements, however. There are a few business law course institutions that eligibility can base on the percentage acquired. To many others, they would require a certain entrance test or any other qualification impartially. For instance, although a Bachelors degree's minimum percentages of students: 45-50% would be required from universities awarding degrees such as LLB or integrated law courses, some would still consider work experience among other things. One possible option would be to register for a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Law (PGDBL) or to complete Certificate courses in Business Law offered by various institutes.
