School of Open Learning, DU offers courses such as B.A. (Prog), B.A. (Hons), B.Com (Prog) and B.Com (Hons) in various specialisations at the UG level. The school offers M.A. And M.Com as its only academic programmes at the PG level. SOL DU admission to UG courses is entirely merit-based, while for PG it is both merit and entrance-based.

For MCom course, candidates must have pursued BCom with a minimum 50% aggregate. MCom from DU SOL admission is both merit and entrance-based depending upon the availability of seats. 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only.The remaining 50% of the seats are filled through the entrance examination and Interview/ Group Discussion with students who are outside Delhi University.

For the financially-weak, meritorious and other students. It is recommended that students must apply for the scholarships as soon as possible. School of Open Learning offers financial assistance and fee concessions to help needy students. Students, who have studied in a government school and whose family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA subject to submission of income Certificate are eligible to avail of the fee concession scheme.

1. Check the eligibility criteria: Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria set by the DU SOL for LL.B. And LL. M. programs. For LL.B. You must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST). For LL. M. you must have an LL.B. 2. Apply for admission: DU SOL generally releases the admission notification for LL.B. And LL. M. programs in May-June every year. 3. Prepare for the entrance exam: DU SOL conducts an entrance exam for LL.B. And LL. M. programs. You need to prepare for the entrance exam as per the syllabus and pattern prescribed by the university. The entrance exam usually comprises of multiple-choice questions and is conducted in offline mode.
4. Attend the counseling session: If you clear the entrance exam, you will be called for the counseling session. You need to attend the counseling session and choose your preferred college and course.

B.Com degree with minimum 50%marks secured for entrance based admission or 65% for merit-based admission. B.Sc. Degree holders in the relevant subject with at least 50%marks secured in the qualifying examination for entrance based admission or 60% marks secured for merit based admission.

Applicants must obtain aminimumof 60 per cent in the qualification examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/CW/PwD category requires minimum of 55 percent, while OBC (Non-creamy) category candidates require 54 per cent, at the senior secondary level.
