SJMSOM, IIT Bombay has branches of two national banks in their campus and one of the bank is State Bank of India (SBI) which has one Education Loan Scheme exclusively for reputed institutes like SJMSOM & IIT Bombay, named “SBI Scholar Loan”. It’s a pre-approved loan scheme subject to submission of required documents by students. The loan is sanctioned by the campus branch itself. It is a collateral free loan has lower interest rate, interest subsidy during moratorium period whose family income is below INR 4.50 Lacs & no processing fees. The first semester fees paid to the institute is also reimbursable.

SJMSOM, IIT Bombay only accepts CAT score for admission to its flagship MBA programme. Aspiring candidates must apply for the CAT exam and should aim to score well in it. Candidates based on their CAT scores will be selected for the Personal Interview (PI) round. The final merit list for candidates selected for the MBA programme at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay will be based on candidate’s composite score of different parameters which includes CAT overall score, personal interaction (PI) and candidate profile. Candidates who finally got selected after having through all the process will be required to report to the admission cell at SJMSOM for document verification and fee payment.

For admission to SJMSOM for the flagship MBA course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for SJMSOM admission. 

For admission to MBA 2024 batch at SJMSOM, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of SJMSOM are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AMAfternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PMEvening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PMEarlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. For admission to the MBA programme at SJSOM, IIT Bombay the application process is usually concluded in January. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme at SJSOM must apply through the SJSOM official website by paying the required registration fee before the last date mentioned in the notification and admission bulletin issued by SJSOM.Also, SJSOM generally concludes the application process for admission to the PhD course between March and April. Candidates willing to take admission to the PhD in management programme at SJSOM, IIT Bombay must fill out the online application form through SJSOM official website.

There are 24 'Core Faculty' for about 220 students which work out to a faculty: student ratio of about 1:10. If we include the visiting faculty, the ratio will be even better. SJMSOM faculty members are highly qualified and are the alumnus of the top institutes in the country.

As such there are no multiple SJMSOM Counselling rounds for MBA cutoff . Candidates who appear in the CAT 2023 are eligible for counselling only if they get the required minimum marks as per the eligibility criteria SJMSOM. Also, all candidates who appeared in the written exam and are interested in admission must submit appear for the personal interviews. Going as per the past year trends, SJMSOM Counselling 2024 is to be conducted in three steps. First step is appaer for CAT, second step is to qualigy for the round and finally appear for the interview.

DMS IIT Delhi has a fee of approximately INR 10.4 Lacs (indicative) and holds a NIRF ranking of 5 in 2023.
