    A:
    {Source: B.Pharma students & alumni}

How does the placement cell for B.Pharma at Sharda School of Pharmacy assist students in getting placed?

Based on the statements shared by students and alumni, here's what we've found:

    * Assistance in Resume Building: Unfortunately, there is no direct mention of resume building assistance provided by the placement cell. However, students can use their educational background and skills gained during their studies to build a strong resume.
    * Guidance on Interview Preparation: No explicit mentions of interview preparation guidance were found. Students may need to rely on online resources, peer advice, or self-study to prepare for interviews.
    * Job Fairs and Recruitment Drives: Although there's no direct confirmation of job fairs or recruitment drives organized by the placement cell, the presence of conveniently located cafes and mini refreshment joints suggests that external companies might visit the campus for recruitment purposes.
    * Networking Opportunities: With convenient locations for restaurants and cafes, such as Lord's Food Court, Cafe Coffee Day, Baskin-Robbins, and Subway, students may have opportunities to network with professionals and industry experts while grabbing a bite or studying.
    * Faculty Support: Experienced and educated faculty members, who have done M.Pharma, focus on clearing concepts and guiding students on practical procedures. While not directly related to placements, this academic support can equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in their future careers.

In summary, although the placement cell doesn't seem to offer extensive assistance, the college's infrastructure and location could still facilitate networking opportunities and provide a conducive learning environment for students to develop valuable skills.

They need to take care of the faculty as it is a vital factor for the students to get placed.
Placements: Around 40-50% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was 7 Lacs, the lowest was around 2 Lacs and the average package offered was approximately 3-4 Lacs. The top recruiting companies that visited the campus were Alembic pharmaceuticals, Romsons group, Scribex and more. Doing an internship was a part of the curriculum (compulsory). The companies that offered internships were Yug pharmaceuticals, Cadilla etc. The top roles offered were that of Marketing representative, sales executive, customer service executive etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well-equipped with modern infrastructure. The labs had all the amenities required with proper tools and equipments. The library consists of all the study materials and books needed for the course. Hostel rooms are spacious, but cleanliness is a matter of concern. The food is not very good, it's still edible. Canteen is huge and serves a variety of dishes. There is a dispensary in the campus as well to give medical attention to those in need. There is a National level stadium in the campus with exposure to sports equipments to make sure that all the necessities to navigate the sports and games are met.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and qualified but it's often felt that they don't always have answers to your questions. The teaching methods used are somewhat old and need restructuring. The teachers often fail to make the students industry ready. Semester exams fall in the easy to moderate category and the passing percentage is 70 percent.
Other: Teaching methods and ideologies should improve in order to make the students industry ready. The annual fest at the college is quite happening. It's usually a 2-3 days long fest where the students really enjoy themselves.

Wi-Fi facilities are available in the hostel and college building. The hotel has a good infrastructure and strictly raging prohibited areas having our hostel warden. The canteen and mess also are well and cleaned area having top to average quality of food available.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well qualified and have a Master's degrees and, good behaviour, as well as the lecturers, have high teaching skills and knowledge. Of course, this course is curriculum relevant. This makes me ready for industrial work as well as research line. As, I know our semester exams in college are of easy level, and 50 % is the passing percentage.

This college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 2 to 5% of students were placed in my course. About 2 to 3 LPA packages are offered. Cipla, Sun Pharma, Torrent Pharma, and Aryan Pharmaceuticals are the top recruiting companies in my course. About 10 to 15% of students got internships. Pharamacist, drug inspector, railway pharmacist, etc., roles are offered. Research organisations also offer placements.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi, library, neat and clean classrooms and separate labs for each subject. I like hostel facilities and a hygienic mess and canteen. They provide hygienic food. Outdoor as well as indoor games and a big playground are available.
Faculty: Some faculty members are well-qualified master's holders and are great and helpful to me. This course made me self-dependent and taught me many things about my career. Exams are not much difficult. The minimum passing percentage is 50% in every subject.
Other: I chose it as I was always interested in medicine and drugs. The college has to increase its placement percentage. Many events, fests and cultural programs are organised on campus.

Our college had a good infrastructure with a very big stadium along with an interactive faculty.
Placements: Above 60% of the students were placed in my batch. The highest package offered in pharmacy was 6 LPA, the lowest package was 1.5 LPA and the average package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are alembic and pulses. About 80% of the students get internships from here in Dr. Morepen laboratories and S. N. Medical college. Top roles offered are that of pharmacology, pharmacovigilance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The classrooms are very big. The college has 4 floors and every floor has one water cooler. There is a library which consists of almost all the books related to pharmacy, along with all the classes being smart classrooms. There is an activity center where multiple indoor and outdoor games like badminton are available. There is a music room also. Quality of the food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and qualified providing good experience and guidance to the students. The course consists of 2 internships in each semester which provides us knowledge and hands-on experience. The semester exams are difficult but if the students have a good understanding, they will pass.
Other: This course has provided me a deep understanding of pharmacy sector along with being a very comfortable course. There should be more interactive sessions with industry experts for better guidance. Cultural events like "cerebram" are conducted every year which keeps the students engaged and excited.
