{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Shri Balwant Institute of Technology (SBIT)? Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what you need to know:Infrastructure and Facilities:* The campus is spread over 20 acres of land, providing a peaceful learning environment.* Air-conditioned classrooms and decently equipped labs.* A big library with a wide range of books and resources.* Good sports facilities, including volleyball, basketball, billiards, and a gym.Teaching and Curriculum:* Experienced and cooperative faculty members.* Industry-exposed curriculum with regular industrial visits and practical projects.* Relevant subjects taught throughout the course, making students industry-ready.Placement Records:* Average placement rate of around 85%.* Major companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Ernst & Young regularly visit the campus.* Decent salary packages offered, with some students receiving as much as INR15 lakh.Student Life:* Frequent events, festivals, and competitions organized within the campus.* Opportunities for extracurricular activities, such as club participation.* Limited social life outside the campus, with limited options for entertainment.Challenges:* Competition from other colleges in the same region.* Some students reported difficulties in finding internships.* Limited opportunities for those who didn't perform well academically. In conclusion, while SBIT may have its pros and cons, it appears to offer a good balance of academic rigor, industry exposure, and placement opportunities. With a strong faculty and decent infrastructure, it could be a viable option for those looking to pursue a B.E./B.Tech degree in India.
