Review of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.
Placements: The fee structure of the college is slightly high because the placements are not that good. So you are paying only to get a degree and the value of money for that is fair. The fee structure is around 1 Lacs for B.Sc. agriculture. So all I can say is it is not worth it.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities of the college are very good. In our time the warden was a bit strict and we need to take prior permission for everything. The facilities provided in the college are newspapers, magazines, purifiers, and much more. They are always agitated to do some kind of renovation.
Faculty: Faculty in our department are different from one another. Some of them are good while some of them are normal. There are 2-3 teachers for each subject. In our time our appointed teachers were good and friendly. Semester exams are easy but mid-term exams are hard to pass, and if you fail Rs.500 is fine.
Other: I got admission into this college based on my higher secondary examination. First, you need to create an ID in the admission portal and upload your character certificate photo and bonafide if availing scholarship and other minorities and other categories certificate.

The college has really good infrastructure, but there is a lack of placements.
Placements: There are no placements from college. Students have to get placed on their own. Students get good marks.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well-furnished, with greenery all over the campus. It is the best place to enjoy college life. I recommend everyone to visit the campus and have a view of greenery and positive vibes.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and teach us well enough to pass any exam easily. MST exams are held every semester, and final exams are held by the university. Anyone can easily pass as the syllabus is not too tough. With practical knowledge, it is easy to attempt the exams.
Other: The college conducts many events like a sports fest, youth fest, football tournament etc. We enjoy these functions a lot.

Review of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.
Placements: Approximately 1% to 2% of students were placed in our college. Others were able to find jobs on their own. I don't know a single guy who got placed in a company by the college. There are no roles offered in our college. You have to do it on your own.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good with monitor technology where needed. Our college is famous for football, also called the Nursery of Football. The canteen is good, but the prices are a little high in comparison to the local market.
Faculty: Our teachers are good at teaching and their behaviour is very good, except for one or two teachers. Our head of department is very helpful. Our teachers are qualified and their knowledge is of an upper level. Exams are difficult, but the problem is, if you fail the mid-term exam, you have to pay a fine, which is 300 for failure and 500 for absence. Exams are conducted every semester.
Other: I chose the college because my seniors suggested it to me. I wanted to do a B.Sc. in agriculture. It is only at this college near me. Many students come here. There are 100 teachers and 3000 students or more. NSS and NCC are run by students to help needy people and do other social activities. Many functions occur at the college, but the main event is the youth fest, in which a total of 3 colleges take part at the zonal level. In this fest, students show their talents and are honoured by the principal and guests, who were university toppers.
