The SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to the CAT exam pattern, but the SRCC GBO exam is slightly less difficult. The SRCC GBO exam has 160 multiple choice questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has four sections: Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and each incorrect answer is worth -1 mark. The CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has three sections: Verbal Ability (Language Proficiency) and Reading (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative ability (QA).Both the exams have multiple choice questions with four options given for each question. CAT is a longer exam compared to SRCC GBO. The marking scheme, including the weightage of questions and the scoring system, can differ between the two exams. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools. SRCC GBO, on the other hand, is specifically for admission to the Global Business Operations programme offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Yes, the SRCC GBO exam has negative marking. Each question in the SRCC GBO question paper carries four marks. One mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. This means that if the candidate has marked 40 question wrong, then 40 marks will be deducted from the overall score obtained by the candidate. If the candidate has marked more than one option for a particular question, even then the answer will be considered incorrect. To avoid maximum marks deduction, students must attempt the easier question first and then move on to the more difficult ones in that particular section. If the candidate is unsure about a particular question, they can also skip the question. No marks will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.
