The college does not have a hostel service in the campus premises as it is an off campus college. There are PGs near by where the students can stay, the expense for PGs would depend on the types of rooms you take. On an average the cost would be around Rs. 6,500 around Shahdara and can vary depending on the location. Do check for PGs in person and only then decide, for campus facilities hostel you would have to visit the on- campus hostels which are around 25 minutes away from Shyam Lal College.

If you miss an internal exam and there is a specific reason behind it you can talk to the administration and the teachers regarding the same. Pursuing two programs at the same time is always difficult and there are different eligibility criteria for all the courses. There are certain courses you can do simultaneously like the additional language courses which are offered by the CHD department of the college.
